What would you class as a gutter? Beside the pavement at the side of the road? To me, this means people step of the pavement and can slip in it or step out of their car on it or tread it into their car? Get a grip of yourself mate, there's a lot worse happening in the world today for you to have a moan at. I call it matter of personal standards. To me, leaving dog shite in the street is the standard of a dirty, lazy bastid.

If I was in that situation i'd set up a picket/protest outside it, complete with the local babies in prams. There would probably be plenty of support. It makes my blood boil reading about crap like this. This country needs to grow a pair and quick!!!

I live in the centre of a town and last year I saw starlings, sparrows, blue tits, great tits, robins,wagtails, collar doves,fieldfares,wrens and a sparrow hawk. This year the 20 foot high shrubs behind my house were removed to make a carpark and despite putting out a variety of foods, I have only seen two feral pigeons at the same time every afternoon. Its very disappointing. I will have to plant some quick-growing shubs to encourage them to come back. The pigeons must be near too fat to fly!

You could join a local dog training club and try training with a view to taking part in competitive obedience or agility? Go along and see what they have to offer.

Indeed. I think where a lot of people go wrong is they don't train their dogs. They buy a pup and when things arn't as easy or the dog matures, they maybe have a few sessions with a trainer, or even watch a Cesar video and get inspired BUT.....they don't keep up with the training and socialisation. To me, every dog needs constant training, physical and mental, every day of life really or their behaviour can go backwards so quickly. I really think most dogs thrive with a challenge/stimulation.
