I'm looking at weekend breaks for me and the Mrs. We used to do it quite often. Flight and a couple of nights away, city break type of thing. Prices are through the roof, with some spends I'd need £1200-1500. Can take the full family on a weeks deal somewhere for that

I didn't. But the huntsman there genuinely was a milky bar kid when he was younger, think that's who they bought the horse off
-
Fck off I genuinely want to learn I'm not having 25 thl spackers walking behind us taking the piss
-
It came from the south Durham hunt I believe. Think it was off the master there who was one of the milky bar kids!

If you look at the side of it there's actually a plastic butter dish ready for a block of best salted butter..... unfortunately I struggle with butter management.....it's either rock solid or fckin melted! Hence the knock off 'i can't believe its not butter'

We will be out Monday night. About 250 ducks sat on the river and some geese coming in a last light. They are all eating to much so we are going to give em a bit of a chivvy up. 200 ducks on 3 ponds as well. I'm not into tame ducks as they ruin wild duck ponds so the sooner we give them an education the better

I never wanted to work in law, just general interest. Once qualified I think you have to serve your time in various jobs. I'd be 60 and working long hours for half what I earn now. It's just all general interest. Yes I constantly consider other jobs. But nothing would allow me to work my own hours doing something so varied as what I do now. I quite fancy doing the cleaning full time. Maybe if one of my lads takes over the pest control I could try and set up another business. I'd like to do adventure travel, running trips to places like Pamplona.... perhaps a sporting agent? Shootin

Yeah only did the first third. It was going to take me 7 years to do it all in the time I had....I'd be due for retiring

I'm exactly the same, always early and always wake just before the alarm. I do hate mornings though and try hard to avoid doing anything before 9.30am .....but if I need to I will and am never late

Wasp nests. A small spoonful at the entrance hole . I wouldn't think that there's a fisherman around these days who uses wasp grubs. Same with blood worm. Collecting, selling and using those sorts of baits were as big a part of fishing as the actual fishing. Just like baking bread to make ground bait. Today's fishermen miss out on so much with their muddy puddles full of generic carp....they don't realise what they have lost

I didn't use it as such but was very aware of it. My dad was a British rail pest controller so it was a big part of his job. As I went into gamekeeping when leaving school it was still around but most often seen as a rusty tin at the back of a shed. I knew enough by then to leave well alone. It was often brought out to destroy a litter of cubs but by then I was enjoying hunting, so rather than being ok with killing a whole litter for the benifit of shooting I'd rather call a mate with terriers if cubs had to go. I used phostoxoin alot, sometimes for rabbits, alot for moles. C

Is it in Canada? A mate of mine got through to the final cut, went away on a trial did months of interviews and tests. He's actually a good switched on lad and bang into his bushcraft and all that firefighting and shelter building bollocks. His opinion is those who would do well on it are cut out and only those who will make good TV get through. In fairness he is a bit of a flat boring cnut so that's probably true. You need to show your eccentric side in the interview Greyman Tell em about all the big cats you have tracked down in the UK and you will defo smash it

Who remembers all these pieces of paper they made us wear over our mouths to stop us spreading a 'killer virus' Wonder how many tons got bought and imported from the very country that caused it all.....and now get pushed into landfill.
