I like looking at those places, I love observing the seedy sides of life. I'd of liked to visit Bangkok when I was younger and seen all those type of places. I do pest control at one site and from the car park I can see down a back alley with two massage parlours, I could sit all day watching people sneak down there . I've had some right adventures in Amsterdam as well. But I wouldn't actually go with one of those women in a window. I always enjoyed going in lap dancing bars with the lads but I never enjoyed a lapdance, total waste of money and not my thing, but I enjoyed sitting sober,

There's only one thing I'd be buying if I ever had lumps of cash lying around....

It is. But as a nation we should aim to train our own brain surgeons, not import them from countries that we then fund through aid. Sucking any talent out of developing countries stops them developing, and leads to more people trying to flea those places

Drink can be evil and changes people without them or others realising where the problem is coming from. I feel so much healthier having stopped drinking, my sleep has improved 10 fold. It's rare I have more than 1 pint a week now and that's just out of habit and enjoying calling in country pubs

Never a day goes by that I'm not thankful for what I'm able to do now, unfortunately I fear my lad will take it all for granted

I think it's over egging the pudding for me to claim I trained to be a matador. I followed the bulls anywhere I could. I trained with amateurs and went to a few tientas which is the testing of the breeding cows on the ranches, which are the only chance for anyone to get practice with a live animal. What I did gave me a greater understanding of what I went watching. Yeah I just went when I got chance, at the most 6-7 times a year, some years much less

I didn't try in school but still got half decent results, never went to pick my certificates up and never needed em since. Went gamekeeping from school, then into hunt service. A few years farming and eventually working for myself doing pest control. Always thinking of changing career, looked into law and started the entry levels but I'm mid forties now and I'd be looking at sixty before I was getting anywhere. Working for myself means I work my own hours, never get up before 8 and can usually go up the shoot or for a pint by 3. Always wanted to run a little butchers shop sin

Every edl protest I attended had the unions making up part of the counter protest. Often stood next to the Asians holding signs saying 'islam will dominate the world'

I did a laughing face but worried people would realise I was as sick as you....so changed it to a confused one

Mushroom bourguignon. I've not had meat all week. I'm not going veggie (or leftwing bender) but am trying to cut down on mass produced meat. Will be making meat dishes special with game, fish and low food miles traceable meat. Got a leg of venison in the freezer and I'm going to pick up some salt marsh lamb for Sunday dinners

Just switched it on.... A good read program..... Book being read in pidgin English about an African girl planting trees. Next they are discussing the books called 'Me and my afro' and 'What white people can do next' You couldn't make it up

I used to listen to radio 4, always a documentary or something on. Recently I can switch it on and guarantee it's about a woke subject. Book reviews are always books written by some African lesbian about the struggle to integrate. Anything about culture is feminism or trans or migrants.

I was just interested. Been reading a merchant navy book and it was an interesting way of life that disappeared overnight. The dock areas must of been interesting vibrant places all over the world. My dad did pest control on all the docks via British rail, I still have his old diarys. Manchester and Salford was definitely on his beat

100%. To claim it's harder to live now is madness. There's a reason half the world wants to come here....cos it's the land of opportunity.
