Having a food production industry that needs 3 billion in hand outs is madness. People can't afford to eat yet farms are over run with milk and meat they can't sell..... ......and you suggest more of the same old system? Can't say the current attempt is anything but a failure....but more of the same just because?

I don't think he does at all, just keep the buffer zone that both sides agreed on to end the cold war. Would America let Russia invest in Mexico, finance their new president and have bio labs on its border ? Putin is a hard-line leader, in many ways a dictator.....but so are western leaders, they just give us the illusion of freedom. As has been said western leaders are the champions of war crimes.

Awww we've no tomato's. Ahhh well they are out of season anyway. Stopping British farmers producing food 'for the environment' then importing it. Let's not pretend a labour government would encourage more food production..... which is obviously the only serious answer to food security

Agreed. If it was used to catch illegals I'd be in favour. Unfortunately we already have a million illegals and failed asylum seekers who we can identify and still can't deport.....so I'd say start with the other end of the system ?
