Parker has beat Dimitrenko and Carlos Takam both who have a way better pedigree than anyone Joshua has been in with...so i cant work out why everyone thinks Joshuas just gonna walk through him...my way of looking at it is if Dillian Whyte can give Joshua a rough ride over 7 rounds...Parkers levels above Whyte in every department...you only have to of watched Whytes last 2 fights to see that!...i think Joshua-v-Parker will be a lot more competitive than a lot of people want to believe The plan was always for Parker to fight Dimitrenko and Joshua to take another fight end of November...Joshua-v

Just watched it on youtube...not so much a ko more the other fella quits bit of a late punch...other fella makes a right song and dance about it

My mistake...the fight was earlier today...New Zealand time and all that...Parker knocked him out in the 3rd.

Meanwhile back in the real world...Breahmer-v-Cleverly over in Germany on Sky2 tonight...David Price continues his come back on the undercard against someone whos lost 30 odd fights...he wants to fight Parker on the Joshua card end of November...(think Parker will knock Price out early if that happens)...Parkers fighting in Newzeland later in the night thats also on Sky...be interesting to see how the Heavyweight division pans out with it looking like Fury's going to be stripped of his titles...bored of the whole Fury thing to be honest...only interested in boxing for boxers that actually figh

Plenty of time for partying when the fighting's done...nothing worse than watching an athlete piss away a god given talent...if its true should be stripped of the titles straight away...give someone with serious intentions the chance of fighting for them belts...give us punters what they want...maybe in time Fury can come again...we all do stuff as youngsters we regret...hope the penny drops with Fury sooner than later

Is that a formal application into the cult ......people will always see the fighters they likes mis matches as " exciting " ( Nigel Benn,Mike Tyson etc ) and the fighters they dont likes mis matches as " boring " its just human nature to have favourites. Cheers for pointing out people like what they like and dislike what they dont and all that ...cult?...no not in any cult or any fanclub or on a bandwagon for that matter...just giving my opinion

All those moaning about how boring the fight was hadnt they ever seen one of Wvlad's fights before!!???...what did they expect? it was never going to be the thriller in manila...Wvlad was the long reigning Champ fighting in his own back yard!!...but each to their own i suppose...the thing that makes me laugh is those same people moaning where over the moon when Joshua knocked down some complete nobody to pick up the belt they stripped off Fury...and clapped themselves silly when he went 7 rounds with Breazeal who had already proved himself chinny by getting put on his arse by a 40yr old midge

Pick the bones out of that one lads...age looked to me like it was catching up with Wvlad in the Jennings fight...is he shot?

Is that 100% marshman?...would be a bit surprised...Parker is Joshuas mandatory for the IBF belt and they was talking getting the fight on early 2017...but Parker has a fight in new Zealand October 1st...Parkers team have brought him on in a very correct and careful way... cant see them being rushed just because Hearn cant sort an opponent for Joshua...the fight was always going to be next year....theres no avoiding that. As for Joshua-v-Hughie...that was never going to happen...maybe Hughie matures into a good Heavy weight in the coming years...but right now he dont have the power to trouble

did the lad in the end shot, go over with the scooter , or did he stay at the edge, and let the scooter go solo .! if that makes sence lol, even after all this time i was never really sure lol I think its upto you to interpret. But.. i think a part of Jimmy Cooper went over the edge with the Lambretta. Must of seen it a million times as a youngster...if you watch it right from the start...just before the opening credits/music it shows Jimmy walking away from the cliff as the sun is setting...if you also watch Breaking Glass it comes across as a bit of a follow on...Phil Daniels pret

Am i the only one on here that actually pays for Boxnation??!!

Good post Mick...i often think that those that totally disregard Tyson as a fighter werent following his career closely at the time...but judge him on the media bullcrap that came after...Chisora's american opponent that "miss-timed" the count was Malik Scott...the same cheating weasel that took a blatant dive against Wilder...but funny how we've got from Golovkin to Tyson...i remember starting a thread on here last year when Murray fought Golovkin...only a few seemed to of heard of him...now everyones an expert...funny how it goes eh?

Do you think his disregard for defense was maybe because he didnt see Brook as much of a threat??...he said after Brook didnt hit like a middleweight

Benn is my favourite British fighter but I think GGG would have stopped him badly. The man hasn't been wobbled once, would have been interesting to see how he would have taken a shot off someone with the power of Benn.....Loved both Benn and Eubank in their day both would of jumped at fighting GGG I doubt it...they both avoided Roy Jones Jr...and Benn admits that! They had both left Middleweight by the time Jones came on the scene. Jones was in the mix 90-91 when they was both still fighting at middleweight it was in the boxing papers at the time...Benn said years after he didnt want to
