  1. I seriously hope the fight comes off...theres 30 million reasons why it should...if Joshua wins he'd earn my respect...but...i always thought the 2nd Fury-v-Klitschko would be a tougher fight...as Klitschko has had a bit of time to stew in his hurt pride and now has nothing to lose...Joshua dont have the movement and unpredictability of Fury...i can see him getting caught with Klitschkos left hook the way Pulev did...
  2. Thats what Hearn was saying right up to the last minute in the Golovkin-v-Eubank jr deal...
  3. What weight would this fight be at??...Haye's put on so much weight/size and there so many good potential paydays at Heavyweight i cant see him going down to cruiserweight... Haye would destroy Bellew at Heavyweight!...Bellew always has been an arrogant gobshiet...Adonis Stevenson punched some manners in to him and shut him up for 5 minutes...but funny how some love the utter gobshiet in one boxer but hate it in another...thats the magic of the Hearns i guess...or more likely the palms they grease in the media
  4. i think aj stops him in 6 Joshua took 7 rounds to stop Whyte and Brezeal ...so what makes you think he will do Klitschko in 6??...wishfull thinking?both them tough lads klitchko or fury wouldn't have stop either of them. Both went distance with Kevin Johnson aj stopped him in 2... I think aj big hitter and more hungry than klitchko and I don't see klitchko coping with his power.... aj be to strong for him I think Breazeal got put on his arse by a 40yr old midget in the fight before he fought Joshua and you only have to watch Whytes last 3 fights to see how shit he really is!...and you rea

  6. Dogs will rip kingspan to bits in minutes you will need to cover it...as above ply will do the job or maybe tack on sheets of that PVC cladding they use in industrial kitchens...easy to clean and hard wearing...dont think you will have to insulate the whole box for a yorkshire winter...we used just a 4inch thick sheet of Jablite polystyrene insulation under the floor of the kennel box...kept em toastie enough
  7. THE LAST ROUND MUHAMMAD ALI -V- GEORGE CHUVALO a National film board of Canada documentary Can not recommend this film highly enough!... read Chuvalo's book a while back...Chuvalo is a real life hard man and a real character (still lifting weights in his 70's) despite fighting some of the hardest hitting heavyweights of all time he was never put down or in his words "never kissed the canvas"...the film documents his first fight with Ali (and shows another side to Ali often glossed over by the media)...the fight its self makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!...Chulvo's bo
  8. Not the fight I'd like to have seen for ortiz on his matchroom debut but with takam dodging it and no one else willing to step in what else can he do.. Scott will Be lucky to see 2 rounds I reckon. Depends on which round Scott has put his money on...took a blatant dive against Wilder and let himself be counted out against Chisora...low down no pride cheat...suprised Hearn's not got him fighting big Josh
  9. Go on!...give us a cover of Ace of spades on that contraption of yours!!!
  10. Both them Arguello fights were classics...despite the controversy in the first...recently read a interview with Pryor in boxing news editor Tris Dixon's book 'road to nowhere' he claims the bottle that 'revived' him had "something like schnaps" in...whatever the case he came back in the second fight with a change of trainer and put the record straight...no one can take that away from him...Arguellos fight with Ray Mancini around that time another classic...(Arguello died a while back in tragic circumstances)...Great era of boxing R.I.P
  11. Beat me to it regarding Ortiz ortiz is a exciting fighter he will put bums on seats so a good move by hearn in that respect but he will be using Ortiz to pave the way for golden boy i reckon http://www.boxingnews24.com/2016/10/luis-ortiz-signs-eddie-hearn/ Your not wrong kanny...as the above boxing news article says...i also thought a thought hard hitting southpaw like Ortiz would destroy Joshua...wonder if we see that come off now?? i hope so but doubt it
  12. Good competitive card on Boxnation last night...some cracking tear ups!...good 'ol Cromer boy Liam Walsh won a final eliminator for the IBF super-featherweight title...his brother Ryan fights for the European title in Denmark next weekend...think thats on Boxnation too...good times for British boxing right now
  13. Theres been some cracking British title fights recently...Whyte-v-Lewison wernt one of them...Whyte always came across as a scrapper willing to take on all comers...now he's signed to Hearn that is the sort of crap we get to watch...Sam Sexton should of been Whyte's opponent friday night but they clearly didnt fancy that and messed the lad around...going by Whytes last 3 fights Chisora would have the beating of him easy...can see them trying to weasel out of that one too. Read today Hearn has signed Louis Ortiz...call me cynical...but looks like thats one big threat to A.J he now has under hi
  14. Yep good fight alot of folk had it close I agreed with the 116-112 scoring. Hope burns goes onto get a decent pay day in Vegas he's done well for himself. After losing to Crawford and the other fella everyone was writing him off...think hes proved a lot of people wrong...hope he gets that big Vegas payday
  15. The Burns fight last night...what a cracker! one of the best in a British ring this year
  16. It's a sign of the times, let's be honest most men like to show off their pride and joy to others. Difference is back in the day all they had was word of mouth. Now we have books with names of the folks and the internet that gives away everything..... You never seen them old copies of the police gazette? your friend and mine? or all those adverts and challenges the likes of Colby, Armitage ect. put in the papers of the day?...SDJ, PBN ect ect no different really...always been apart of the game Yes but it wasn't as mainstream in those days, I'm guessing the Stratton books put the APB

  18. Talking of heavyweights Dillian Whyte fights Ian Lewison for the British title tonight in Glasgow on the undercard of the Ricky Burns fight...not seen much of Lewison(should of been Sexton but the fecked the lad around!)...know nothing of the lad Burn's is fighting other than he managed by Ricky Hatton...live tonight Sky2...
  19. Wolf from Gladiators?or Mr T maybe???...as others have said Haye needs to knuckle down and get some rounds under his belt with decent rated opponents before anyones going to take his 'come back' seriously
  20. Weathers about a month late this end...bring on them frosty nights and misty mornings
  21. If anyone can make it happen its Eddie Hearn ...he gets a lot of stick but personally I think he is great for boxing and is a very motivated young promoter that has given the public some great fight cards the past few years ...he doesn't take himself too seriously ....lets hope next year we have an undisputed Heavy weight champion of the world and the powers to be make it happen ..there has been too much nonsence lately Like i said MIK i cant see Joshua fighting Wvlad this November...Hearns all hot air and hype...its all about the image and hype with them...going right back to their first b
  22. According to Frank Warren McCracken is his trainer Simms just brought in to do his corner as McCracken cant work pro fighters corners Since when has Frank Warren been privy to Eddie Hearns fighters....if that was the case we might as well say McCracken trains most of the fighters in Britain......when you see the facilities up in Sheffield its not difficult to see why all the lads go up there. It seems to be the worst kept secret in boxing its become a bit of a joke...which is why it made me chuckle when Barker 'accidentally' let it slip...the Olympic facilities in Sheffield
  23. I think he'd fancy a re-match with Brahmer before either of them two
  24. According to Frank Warren McCracken is his trainer Simms just brought in to do his corner as McCracken cant work pro fighters corners
  25. Anyone else think Jurgen Brahmer looks alot like Bob Fitzsimmons?????...thought Darren Barker was brilliant at the punditry thing last night...very honest...made me chuckle when he had to accidentally on purpose correct himself on Joshua's trainer
