  1. Mitchell Smith tonight...what a stoppage!!!...got to be the best up and coming British boxer right now
  2. Of course they did...and no doubt took their Game dogs and Game cocks with them...as did the English,Irish,Welsh and Cornish dogmen...its a modern day romantic myth that the APBT originates from dogs that 'mostly' came from Ireland No romantic ideas at all. It's more or less a fact that the Irish originally got their dogs from the British and the Irish bloodlines were popular with the yanks. So after the British left their dogs with the Irish the Irish just made them better. Same as today with terrier lines (patterdales, russe Thats your opinion and your entitled to it...its an ignora

  6. Ali had a ton more charisma than Fury...i seriously hoped after the show Haye and Chisora made of themselves before they fought Klitschko...Fury would do things different..and do British boxing proud for a change...Klitschko is such a calm gentleman that all that trash talk just dont work against him...just looks daft...as said above...a big fight like this will sell its self...and dont need all the usual old bollocks

  8. Are you unfamiliar with the concept of line breeding? ... Im not on about a few who may actually have a breeding plan. It just seemed a point when psycho was the name used to shift pups bred by any old dog who had his name pop up somewhere back in the pedigree. Abit like a time when the pakis were selling huge red nose dogs and calling em reid lines lol. I'm not anti staffords or anything I have been around some lovely ones. I just see alot of stafford owners seem to be obsessed with pedigrees or names far back in the pedigree. Other than the legal situation to stop people owning one, is
  9. A man hears what he wants to hear...and disregards the rest...or so the song goes...im no History expert but in regards to the pioneers of the APBT who made an impact on the breed...J.P Colby springs to mind...he emigrated to America from Wales taking dogs with him...yes he imported dogs from Ireland...but also from England too...then theres Earl Tudor...whos favored line of dogs where the Henry dogs...an English Bloodline...and of course theres Cockney Charlie Lloyd...with his famous foundation dog Pilot...a dog whelped in a pub in Walsall...i think yours is a bit of a romantic view...and one

Took the first pup i ever had a 5 weeks...didnt know no better...turned out well...i've taken all pups i've had since then 5/6weeks...as long as they strong and healthy...no problem...little point them being with their mother after that imo..get em settled and just get on with it...but each to their own
  16. Whats gangster and cryptic about it ?.......dont you understand English ? It means if you try to stamp your size 9's down on someone who wears size 12's dont be surprised on a little comeback..............theres only 2 people in the world who know who shot him and they are both happy with the outcome. I understand English pretty good...as long as its written in a straight forward way...i dont do well with cryptic riddles...i mean going off on a tangent about shoe sizes...and both happy with the outcome...thats about as clear as mud...say what you mean...and if you cant talk openly about i
  17. I can remember a certain member on here who crowed like a dung hill cock about what Del boy Chisora was gonna do to Fury...but went as quiet as a church mouse when his man Lost...as i remember it i was one of the few who predicted a Fury win...even the gypsy high rollers where quiet on the betting front before that one
  18. I was 17...have to say what you think look ace at 17...dont look so good at 46...i've had loads of cover up and reworking done over the years...im covered...not so much stigma these days thanks to what i call 'the david beckham effect'...but to quote Mr M Tyson esq on tattoo..."if you dont like em...dont f***ing look at em!"
  19. Thats all a bit gangster and cryptic...cant you give it to us civillians in terms we can understand?... Warren says he know who shot him...and it wasnt Marsh...he said the gunman even tried to shake his hand at a boxing do...and Warren refused...i bet he's tucked up and pissed off a lot of people with money over the years
  20. You certainly aint no fan of wilders are you Mick...what did you think of his eliminator with Malik Scott for the WBC?...Scott took a dive or what?!!
  21. I was gonna say Audley Harrison...but he was just shit in the ring and usually lost
  22. Fair enough at least your honest.............who do you fancy anyway ? gonna go with Whyte...just in the hope it will thicken the plot of the A.J story...unlike just about everyone Joshua's barnstormed so far...Whyte wont be intimidated...far from it...early rounds tear up for sure...cant see Cornish going the distance with A.J sorry to say Anyone else got 'the Gambler' by Kenny Rodgers stuck in their head reading this thread?
  23. Yeah there was also rumours that he tried to quit in his corner but Johnson wouldnt let him...got Mitchell's war baby on the shelf somewhere...not to take anything away from Benn...he took some massive shots in the first round...from a man who'd wrapped his own hands!...i think that made a differance Blinking can be a sign of brain injury...you saying he already had a problem prior to the Benn match?
  24. if McClellens hands had of been wrapped properly...do you think Benn would of got back through the ropes?...and lasted the first round?
  25. 24/7 8 days a week except Fridays Pub on fridays...eh?Desertbred
