  1. Nice pups best of luck with them !
  2. Nice Dog pal, never done the ratting thing but I can imagine it would be loads of fun especially eith those kind of numbers... And as far as johnpat's posts go they are as worthles as he is, take a look at his contribution to the forum... "another knob with another tube is there no proper terrier men left" "should have left him down there the rabbit mad bastrd" "how many times was he in a field that didnt have a show ring in it" "it looks to me like you doubled the terriers up" "no where near 10 feet more lies prob 7 at the most" "you
  3. Good work and nice end result !
  4. Same here.. I am interested in the type of terrain you work your dogs in and the type of quarry you take with them...
  5. your workers please Here are a couple and some future ones...
  6. and there's the picture that's now on every antis to do list for their next website update, nice one I'm in italy and I hunt in accord with italian laws, never had a problem,on the other side my service and my dogs are requested by local administrations to get rid of vermin. I know you are bud, and I don't doubt you stick to your laws....but when the antis take that pic for their own use do you think they'll include all that info? will they bollocks! When explained to him like this he will probably be alittle more aware of the of the likelyhood of the antis using the pict
  7. This is a pretty informative article on the subject of tail docking and dew claw removal, step by step...Bear in mind this info is on a breeder of non working jrt site, but is the best info I found when I searched for info on this topic. http://www.farmcliff.com/articles/dew-claws.htm
  8. I like it, very efficient use of space and clean...
  9. I say if you have a suitable dog for drawing then go for it...I personaly just started one this season he is a year and a half old 1/4 apbt 1/4 airedale and 1/2 mt. cur...he should save a little wear and tear on my terriers... Edited to add a picture of him...
  10. Or just dont put any of your dogs on the ground while that one is being hunted... That being said I can remember a particular nasty bitch my Dad owned years ago, I witnessed her come off the quarry and out of the ground only to jump on another bitch that was tied back...She ended up being culled for that very undesirable trait...
  11. Sorry for your loss...Hope the coming year is better to you...
  12. Here in the states the smaller size of a female can be an attractive attribute...They can have the ability to squeeze in some tighter spots to reach the quarry...Also if she makes the grade she can give you a litter, no need pay for pups any more... Forgot to say, nice terriers Ali... like your kennel set up also
  13. SAME OLD SHIT AGAIN http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqPzFLc2J-4 Good luck with your dogs as others have said, like the looks of chocolate Chip sire...
  14. Thanks LP, We were suppose to have been hunting with Josh, Chad & the boys that day but the fu bug is going around...Still hoping to make it down your way this season, need get some terriers healed up though, down to one right now.. Take care
  15. busterdog, 96 in two days holy cow...Were you guys doing some barn hunting ? Good luck overcoming your affliction LOL...ATB
  16. Mrquinn I cant say, as I have never dug to fox...We just dont have very many around here...I can tell you raccoons can be really hard on a terrier ( I have some pics to prove it and have been reminded from time to time that the internet is no place for them) We dont have raccoon dogs here in the states just raccoons...From what I have been told fox have fairly thin hides and I can tell you that raccoons have a real thick tough hide on them plus they are able use their paws like hands they will grab onto a terrier and pull them in close and go to town...
  17. Thanks for the positive words mates... The dog who gets the most credit from me yesterday is that little black gyp...She only weighs 12lbs where as I weighed the coon and it was a 25lber (24 1/2 ) she stayed on it the whole time , except for the bolt to the other push pile and once it was relocated she went right back to work... busterdog, yes I take them home and skin them out and sell the pelts...This year racoon pelts are bringing between $10 & $18...
  18. I've got a terrier who ranges out a little to far at times and and have always thought it would be nice if there was a locator collar that was dual purpose...GPS above ground and B&F type below...It would be nice...
  19. you might give this site a try pal, its where I do all my resizing...It has an option for creating an avatar ( profile picture)... Good luck
