  7. Nice looking patterdales. I like both coat types, but you sure can see the muscularity of the smooth coated dog.
  8. I checked Dept of Natural Resources here in Illinois because I thought there was a hunting season for badger, but I was mistaken. There is a trapping season for badgers though. 10. This guy seems to be a better shot. http://s671.photobucket.com/albums/vv80/go...50Cal1Style.flv Beware graphic images of varmit shooting!

  12. Just wanted to say thanks for the responses, I appreciate the advice.
  13. Rats from 6 to 8 months, on the tether watching and listening to the older terriers from 12 to 18 months, then one or two introductions in a dig beside an experienced terrier then the from 18 months collared up and allowed ot check earths with an experienced dog checking behind them. very briefly, letting them kill and eat pet mice I can not really see any point in The mice were not bred or sold to be pets, they were meant to be a meal for someones boa constictor. As far as letting the pups have them I thought it help with their prey drive. Thanks for the advice.
  14. I am curious to find out other peoples training methods with pups, and at what age you introduce prey to them. My pups are nine weeks old and today I stopped by the local pet shop and bought some mice for them they all showed good prey drive and one of them finds the mice to be pretty tasty. Thanks for any tips in advance.

  19. I'm new to the forum so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on how I interpret this. People who use this site only to advertise their merchandise are not welcome but people who contribute to the site and are not here just to make a buck can sell their merchandise and pups ( hopefully those pups will be of the quality to contribute to their intended purpose) . Seems easy enough to me and ethical.
  20. That is a damm nice lookin dog. Way to go on the pest control!!
  21. The person or persons responsible needs to have their teeth kicked out of their head. One thing I can not stand is a fu**ing thief!!! I spend anywhere from 8 to 16 hrs. a day keeping scum like this behind bars.
  22. I am sorry for your loss. Also I was wondering if heartworms are an issue over there?
