Got out again yesterday with Rob and Kirk and had another great hunt...Ended the day with four nice coons...The last one of the day was a real whopper it weighed in at 30lbs which is the biggest to date that I have taken with any of my dogs...Thanks for another great day out Rob ! I use the Barryvox Pulse with both Ortovox transmitters ( with the Stong Stuff collars ) and the rechargable Bellman & Flint collar...I am having a issue with one of the Ortovox transmitters ( sends a weak signal unless downward pressure is maintained on the cap ) sent an e-mail to Noble Custom tonight so I shall see what their customer service is like. The Barryvox is always right on the mark but I wouldnt be afraid to try the new Bellman & Flint locator after I have read what others said about it...The fact that it is rechargable is a plus and it also gives the depth in feet ( and m

Had no plans yesterday, started the morning with some coffee and an online chat with a friend who has some awesome permissions...Conversation ended with a invite to come up for some dog work, a couple hours later we were in the field with dogs on the ground... ...All the dogs worked well and we ended the day around 4 oclock with a total of 5 coons taken... Life is good...

Yes sir, Nolan (on the left holding my bitch, her sire in the hole working for a draw) loves those three hour drives, well mabey not the drive but what whats waiting for him when we arrive at our destination...Kids his age, hunting with dogs and just being able to goof off in the countryside... Drove down to Southern Illinois yesterday to get out with the boys and terriers...Weather was great and we ended up digging to my bitch twice to a couple of nice sized ground hogs...One of the hogs was removed from a farmers barn where it had done considerable damage to the dirt floor...The other was a crop eater and was dug to near a bean field...
