  1. Got to admit, that idiot would be me if I ever found one. LOL. I have a mild compulsion to get as close as I dare to the edge of cliffs etc.

  3. There's some people that cancer would be too good for. However, I like to think I can have a different political view to others and still get on with them to a degree if we can find some sort of common ethical/philisophical ground. Now, I think the man in question is a complete DICK and I really wouldn't chuck him a quid to save his life but equally I wouldn't wish him death, that just feels wrong to me. Basically, I'm not wishing him well but I'm not wishing him bad either, bollocks to him. If, on the other hand, he was mauled to death by a rabid badger, I'd find it hard not to have a chu
  4. That's the buzz Scot, you just don't get that shot of adrenaline in many other forms of hunting. That shear panick being in close proximity to a few rats in the dark is I imagine a similar feeling to standing in the path of a charging bull Elephant in musk! You've not lived mate!
  5. There's not a chance in hell of that ever happening to me! If a live rat got within biting distance there'd be some serious Bruce Lee shit going on! Felt the sharp end of a cat and fox though and of course a ferret. I'd take a bite from a bloody cobra before I'd let a rat bite me!
  6. We don't have the balls! Hahaha yeah alright. If we didn't the Russians would invade our airspace all the time, fact is they don't. They test us in sly ways but behave. If they were deemed a threat a Typhoon would unleash hell! And it would be completely legal, justified and supported by NATO. A Russian military aircraft unresponsive entering deep into British airspace would be shot down after proper protocol was followed. They behave because they would be the instigator of a shit storm and they don't want that.
  7. Baw, if all this country took on were genuine refugees we'd not have a worry in the world. Another one that doesn't understand what UKIP are about? Do you seriously think when the government let the first refugee on these shores they wanted in genuine ones? UKIP are jumping on the same old bandwagon and because its them your over the moon about it. I'm not the one who comes on here moaning about foreigners etc, vote UKIP, you guys are. Now they are wanting refugees your all of a sudden showing compassion and agreeing with them. Your right about one thing born, I don't understand what ukips a

  9. Ruby, not being funny mate but every time a Russian recon plane even sniffs around our patch Typhoons are scrambled to intercept. And don't doubt we'd pull the trigger on an AMRAAM if threatened!
  10. I can't see the Russians letting SAS/SBS come in for the glory. Maybe in a supporting advisory role. National pride comes before the lives of hostages! It'll be no different to the Algerians situation IMO.
  11. You sure it's 150 ftlbs energy and not 150 lb draw weight? Either way it's legal, you're fine.
  12. Never made a new years resolution, if you wanna change there's no point waiting for the new year. Looking to the future, I want to take every opportunity I get, especially ones out of my comfort zone. I know what I want to change and I'm working towards those goals. 2013 has been good to me, I want 2014 to be even better! All the best to the rest of you!
  13. The Spetsnaz are a formidable force with a highly regarded reputation no doubt. But f**k me they have a piss poor hostage rescue history. Why even attempt to rescue them with that attitude, just starve em out. If there is a hostage situation at these games, the hostages are on very thin ice with these mad feckers! Caught in a gun fight between Islamic extremists and Alpha Group Spetsnaz, haha!
  14. I know that mate. They killed over a hundred hostages and hospitalised hundreds more, they're rank amateurs. They just don't give a shite and that's the only thing that makes them dangerous to terrorists. We may negotiate for a bit and offer them a cream tea and paper but when it comes to taking action our forces excute with surgical precision and aggression. The Russians on the other hand say f**k all and torch anything and everything as long as they kill their targets. LOL. One is hostage rescue, the other is dumb murder. Fair play to em though, they take no shit, like the Israelis.
  15. Looking at the Russian's history of hostage rescue, I pray to god there isn't the need for one! They're f***ing shocking!
  16. who else would end a hostage situation with nerve gas And what a howling cock up they made of that! We know how to deal with a hostage situation... The Russians might not give a f**k but they ain't particularly great at planning or execution. No, sorry, they're f***ing great at executing, just not great at directing their executions, LOL.
  17. We either accept it's right to give aid when just or we say it's not. If we accept it's right then it's a subjective matter where we draw the line... Everything we have? Or just a pack of peanuts? Syria is experiencing one of, if not, the greatest refugee crises in human history as a result of a civil war that we have decided not to end, rightly or wrongly. So all these refugees, where have they gone? A fair percentage to Turkey I believe, a Nato ally of reasonable strategic important due to it's position in the middle east. So all of us 'out of the way' states who are supposed to be Turke

  19. And I may be inclined to agree, but the way things are in the world currently the major players tend to be fairly compassionate. And those countries who have a different 'moral outlook' to us who we give aid to, that's simply a case of I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine. We benfit from it, trust me.
  20. Moral obligation?? Do we not have a moral obligation to our own people first mate? If every other country was taking in 500 then I'd agree....bet there not though eh?? Of course we do, so what would you like us to do? Taking in our fair share of refugees won't hurt us at all but will benefit us in our foreing affairs. I can tell your not going to like this answer but it's not our problem so they'll just have to get on with it. Maybe if in time when we stop dishing out millions our little country can be a wealthy one and then is see no problem in offering help in anyway. Until then....
  21. IF we were ever in a situation like any of these other countries in crises then I see no reason why the great powers of the world would'nt give us assistance, militarily, financially or otherwise. But that's never gonna be a concern of ours. Your An Optimist Mate As I'm Certain They'd Give Us NOTHING . . And Plenty Off It !! And you're a pessimist, lol. I'm a realist, I'm looking at the world as I see it. When a country is in crises the great powers of the world tend to take notice. Their intentions may not be pure but they DO take notice and give assistance. If we had a civil war and a
  22. youre fookin right, were was the help to the englishman when he lost his house because he lost his job,, couldnt put bread on the table to feed his family. Makes my blood boil, the banks couldnt get you out the house fast enough. About time they got their priorities right. Was that Englishman not entitled to the various benefits our welfare state has to offer? Was that Englishman not able to take out a very small insurance policy protecting his mortgage for life in the case of loosing his job? We're talking a few refugees, not the whole of Pakistan.

  25. Well I for one wouldn't, there's a lot of people that believe UKIP are something they're not, some sort of 21st century National Front. Like I said It's my beliefe we have a moral obligation to act in situations like this. Parliament decided that to take direct action to prevent an ongoing refugee crises was wrong so now we must deal with that consiquence. We could just say 'f**k em' but a lot of our foreign politics relies on our supposed supperior moral standing in the world. Likewise I've never claimed to be against immigration, yet I'm still a supporter of UKIP as they're not again
