  1. The father ought to be remorgaging his house to pay some nasty f****r inside to sort the job out. There's only one type of justice for that crime and it ain't on the table for British Judges unfortunately.
  2. They sound in stark contrast to the occupants of Ch4 right now....
  3. What a coincidence, the worlds largest offshore oilfield has been found just as the Yes vote loses all hope and it's the big bad Union holding it back from the Scottish eh.... I'm inclined to think it's bollocks as well Joe.
  4. I've seen the hot crazy matrix bit before but not the cute rich one. haha I bet that has gone down like a house on fire with the femanists.
  5. Dunno, not seen a post off him on here for a long time.. I do hope everything is good with him. He gave me some much appreciated career advice a while back and his shooting posts were very refreshing, his enthusiasm was infectious.
  6. TC, here we go again, the "you're too young to know what's best". I work for an oil services company, specifically in drilling/formation evaluation. I've seen the effects of fines, in my short time. I've listened to our CEO giving it the all caring shit matters speach to us, you think I'm that gullible? But you're wrong, they do care about the environment.... why? because not to effects profits! Getting caught breaking the rules costs them very heavily. I'm not an expert on fracking, or anything. I'm having an argument on it's merits, nothing more. I'll debate with any of you on the topic,
  7. Where is NickB? He's been away for ages. He used to work in MWD services which is what's used to direct the wells horizontally for fracking. He'll know his shit wrt this topic.
  8. Of course people break the law. What do you want me to do, oppose any regulated industry incase somebody breaks the law? The companies involved in this will be overseen by the EA. If they get caught playing silly buggers, they lose their contract and get fined to shit. Believe me, stuff like that sends companies under! The disposal of rads is monitored very closely in this country.
  9. As long as they dump the toxic residue else where? From what I have read it is mainly Derbyshire, Lancs, Cheshire and parts of another couple of counties that will be affected, although they are testing in Kent, Sussex and Hampshire. Where is the toxic waste going to go? TC What toxic waste? The natural radioactive isotopes found in shale formations? From what I am led to believe drilling companies have to meet EA standards and remove the vast majority of rads from the fluid to levels below what spring water has! Fracking fluid has to be non toxic to be used in the UK
  10. Fracking was illegal in the UK....... funnily enough Germany are reviewing their shale gas and fracking views to potentially exploit it.
  11. BIGLURKS, that video was an american video. This is the UK, different laws, different times.

  13. Not a totally balanced report, but does highlight some of the concerns that should be addressed before they start. TC The BGS are all over it. They've been watching as the rest of the world developed this technology and made the mistakes for us. We're ready, the tech and knowledge is here, lets take advantage of these unconventional resources while we can.
  14. The science behind fracking has evolved just like in any other operation. Don't believe all the horror stories of what will happen. This is a massive resource that we need to take advantage of. Another NIMBY? TC They can drill in my back yard with the greatest of pleasure. I'd have a f***ing Nuclear power station as well! LOL

  16. I'd like to know how fracking is going to "desicrate" our national parks? Personally, I say take advantage of this resource now!
  17. Not according to William Blake it wasn't. LOL. The poem is about England, Jerusalem being a metaphor for heaven.
  18. "........ thankyou" I would let her do that to me all day.
  19. Your as messed up for labelling him. LOL, okay.... Can we assume you also partake?
  20. So he's a homo-necro-beastial-ivor............... messed up!
  21. Im a greedy c**t so id head for Malaysia ....but like i say its risk/reward so you take your pick.....taking your pick doesnt stop the crime itself though. I dont agree with your points mate.......but what would your realistic answer to the problem be ?... keeping societies othercrimes/ punishment/sentancing guidelines in mind ? I want to say shoot or dissfigure the dosey twats, but that perhaps won't go down too well. Any dog killing should be considered man slaughter, any dog mauling should be considered gross negligence. Publicly make examples of people, plaster the consiq
  22. Yes that's perfectly fair, he's earnt that. The dog situation is different, the purpose of this insurance is completely different. car insurance is to ensure that any accidents are sorted out fairly and the greater risk of you causing an accident combined with the potential cost of that accident dictates the premium. In the case of dogs, the 'insurance' isn't really insurance at all, it's effectively a licence that is costed in the same way as car insurance is. The reason i say that is because it's purpose isn't to settle any accidents fairly (how can any amount of money be compensation fo
  23. How does a " greater risk of being caught " tally up with harsher sentancing ? which is the reason for the drop greater risk of being caught or harsher sentancing ? Technology ( the greater risk of being caught ) is the reason people no longer walk into a bank with a sledghammer and a sack........not harsher sentances. Because any logical risk assesment is based on the statistical chance of falling foul and the consiquences of falling foul. It's a combination of the two. If you had to cross a road and their was a 50% chance of you getting clipped by a cyclist would you cross? Now i
  24. Because drug mules never try slipping out of Malaysia or the Philippines any more do they ..................people will always be tempted to juggle risk/reward thats human nature,my logic tells me removing that temptation is better for everyone. Of course, but compare that to a country with equal chance of getting caught but lighter sentencing? Where do YOU choose to do bussiness? If we want to remove temptation, lets just ban all pet ownership of dogs. The only people allowed to keep dogs are professionals that do essential jobs. Police, military, guide dogs, keepers. Amateur wor
