They still not fixed that problem? I had a 02 plate golf 1.9TDi and the pipe was designed too short, would pop off and corrode the boot hatch mechanism. Easy fix but shody if they didn't sort it for the new model.

Yep, it should be supported but the app itself isn't having any of it. Gonna get onto sky, can't really blame the shop for this.

According to Google, it's a well known problem. Seems some are at least able to download the app though. Might talk to sky but I doubt they can do much if their app is filled with bugs.

Sorry folks, 4oD works. But the sky go app isn't having any of it. Just getting "this app is incompatible with your device". I'm no better off than yesterday only saved 60 quid. LOL Yeah tomo, got access to sky.

So I've now got a galaxy tab pro 8.4. Again, i like it. Was told it'd be spot on for sky player and 4oD.... I'm now finding out neither actually work on It! Another tablet that's a bag of shite? Seriously folks am I better off with a Laptop? I'm getting sick of this bollocks now.

The Microsoft is great except its incompatible with sky! So what do I get? iOS is comparable with everything because they have the market tied up but you can't use external hard drive I think. What are the samsungs like? At this rate I'll end up with a laptop again.

John Lewis was my first stop. All the fecking 'advisors' are actually visitors from the different tech companies so as soon as you ask for any actual advice they just say "you know I think what you need is this the blah blah bollocks XVPRS12000 PRO Extreme" which is their own product! So in essence utterly f***ing useless advice!

The only thing that'd put me off suggesting a greyhound is they often carry niggling injuries into retirement whereas something less 'athletically honed' will be a bit more robust. Terriers are pretty bomb proof and make good companions around the house and in the field. JMO

My laptop expired in the week so I've been into town today to replace it with something. All I really use it for is browsing the internet and streaming catch up TV, sky player, 4OD, iplayer etc. End up leaving PC world with a Microsoft Surface tablet and after setting the b*****d up it turns out it's completely incompatible with sky player! Do the staff of PC World know f***ing anything about what they sell? What a ball ache!

Gnasher, trying to simplify my answer to you and leave the philosophy crap; a scientific fact is something that is observable and reproduceable and that any objective observer will agree on. Theories are explanations for those facts. So for example, the Big Bang isn't a fact it's the most probable theory to explain the universe we see. So with that in mind.......do you accept that people on this topic talking about scientific proof being factual evidence................is incorrect ?......thats my whole point....its my only point in fact. I think you've used a poor similarity with the error comparison. Sayin the universe is X years old within 2% in not the same as saying "I'm 6'2" when I'm actually 6'" that's simply a lie. It's like saying "I'm 6' with a 2% error on the measurement". For simplicity in everyday life we tend to ignore errors as they are generally inconsiquencial. In science errors are a significant part of measurements as they show the range of values something can take. We're getting into the philosophy of what 'fact' is now. What is a fact? How do we prove something and so accept it as fact? I don't believe

Gnasher, every measured quantity known to man has a error with it. Your height, your weight, the speed of your car etc etc. The error in the calculated age of the universe spans 2% of the value. Considering that that is an indirect measurement from observations made on objects that are on the cosmic distance scale, I'd say that's not too shody.

Who cares, it was a long time ago, thats for sure I agree, in the context of your point it was irrelavent. But I won't have people using something like that as an excuse to ridicule the theory itself. You missquoted the value, hardly significant is it? LOL. I don't even understand why there's this Big Bang vs God argument. TBBT was largely welcomed by theists because it allowed for the existence of God as the big bang itself is a creation type event.

Yep thats it.......after all whats 300 million years between friends Until the next correction Corrections are applied to all measurements. Including for instance the circumference of the earth or the height of a mountain. It's hardly a big deal. As our understanding improves our measurements become more precise. That's the nature of science and it's done us pretty well to date.
