  1. Imagine if you were on another plane waiting to take off and saw that f****r go up! LOL. "ermmmmm do you think you might want to double check our engines Captain....... CAPTAIN!.......... f**k it, I'll get a boat.". Someone show Cushty this thread.
  2. http://youtu.be/h-82JC5NSwE Prefer this one, http://youtu.be/09RZiRuNDtM
  3. If I'd earned it, It'd stay in the bank until I needed it. If someone gave me a grand to spend then I'd just blow it on materialistic shit and be happy. Edit; just realised I missed the point entirely. Buy tat of the car boots and flog it on ebay!
  4. I don't necessarily disagree with any of that. But let's not stray too far from where this started. I said I'm glad it didn't go through parliament, you said it did 2 years ago. It didn't. The RAF are not bombing Assad's assets yet and it'd be very foolish to do so as part of any strategic goal without parliamentary approval (not that it's constitutionally required). Nonetheless, I'm not disagreeing that they want to force an end to the civil war and out the man, or that this drone strike was a convenient way of testing the water on the issue.
  5. It went through parliament 2 years ago, and the man from del monte, he say f***ing no sunshine, chuck a load of muzz immigrants at us and it's KILL ALL THEM MUTHA FUKKERS Camerons a f***ing idiot, he couldn't sort you pie and peas out I think i'll have a round robin now i seem to be on a roll....................Assad being ousted, UK staying in the EU, and Corbyn winning the leadership........wonder what odds i'd get? Oh, so because parliament voted against bombing Assad on humanitarian grounds, that means we are to never engage legitimate threats to the UK in Syria? They're two

  7. I'm very thankful these special operations don't go through parliament. While the politicians are arguing over the rights and wrongs of killing threats to the nation the wrong side of a border, the threats have f****d off. I have complete faith in the men and women that are tasked with finding these threats and I'm thankful Cameron had the savvy to sort it on the quiet. Just as any other government with a shred of back bone would have. Certain military actions loose all effectiveness if the Commons have to give them the nod before hand.
  8. I'll add, I think my generation are more willing to move for work. Maybe a better way of putting it is they actually want to move and resettle which opens up more work opportunities and therefore a chance at the property ladder.
  9. I've just looked on right move in Surrey and found flats for sale for 70- grand. Now I'd expect anybody to be able to live within 10 miles of work and commute which opens up even more area. Sorry mate, I don't buy this too expensive talk.
  10. The MoD has a YouTube channel for these drone strikes now! LOL
  11. I guess it's because short of winning the lottery, many of the younger guys can only dream about owning a house, let alone paying off the parents mortgage. That's bollocks. If you want something enough, make it happen. There was a thread in here recently with people boasting of spending £250+ on a night out. Less drink drugs video games and 'trendy' clothes, more saving. Have a deposit saved up in no time... Absolutely. Hear it a lot, people saying they can't afford a house, when what they mean is they can't afford the lifestyle they think they are entitled to. It's harder for this gen
  12. Is this the freelander 1 or freelander 2 mate? I've been looking at the freelander 2 and reviews sound pretty good. My house mate had a Freelander 2 (LPG) and is was shoite... Do they do a petrol in this country? Everyone I've spoken to that has one (2.2 TD4) speaks very highly of theirs. I can't comment on their reliability first hand but performance I'm more than happy with.
  13. Is that petrol? My brother has a 5 door GV V6 and really likes it. It can shift for a biggish motor! For the level of off roading that most of us do, these vehicles are perfectly capable.
  14. yeah sorry about that i think ill be able to spend around 7 thousand and with the mileage that i am doing it needs to be ok on fuel. My boss has a new 61 reg l200 and can get 39mpg and i really like that so maybe something like that but i am open to suggestions really. I have also been thinking about just getting a cheap POS because of the miles i do whatever i buy will be worth nothing in 3 or 4 years time That does sound good for a pick up! I've got a FL2 and get 42mpg on a 70mph run, 36mpg day to day. Considering you do a hell of a lot of road miles commuting, it really is 'com
  15. LOL, I can't believe we've has a shit ton of suggestions and nobody has asked what money you are looking at spending!
  16. Submachine gun, so pistol calibre? Looks like bollocks and the tech is out there now. As it is though I can't see what application it has. The thing is far too vulnerable to be of use.
  17. I certainly didn't infer that. I inferred that he knows of some good land but hasn't the permission to go on it, so doesn't. Why is everyone looking to hang the lad?
  18. It's also quite effective at dissuading aggressive neighbours from invasion! When half of your citizens are gun toting freedom loving red neck nationalists, it's a hell of a resistance force for any invaders to have to deal with.
  19. Yes very easy over there. Certain types of firearms though requite ATF registration and other types can't be bought new, only grandfathered. It also differs state to state. I fully accept that by increasing the number of legally held firearms will lead to an increase in legally held firearm crime. Obviously illegally held firearm crime is a problem irrespective of gun law, as proven by the UKs history! Just the same as I accept a higher degree of risk with any freedom we are allowed. Most people don't want the right to carry for defense, they are happy to give that responsibility to
  20. i assume the bob in paris, was sarcasm? I was meaning the weekend pigeon shooter ,who cant make his mind up if 6's or 7's are best ,suddenly carrying a handgun in a hostile situation. I was going along with your scenario of Bob the pigeon shooter preventing the Paris attack. So let's ban pigeon shooting, Bob aint safe to have guns! If you can agree that as a society we can hunt with firearms to an acceptably safe level then why not defend ourselves? I've not yet managed to kill anybody I shoot with so why would I be any more likely to cause a greater risk when defending myself or others fro
  21. Why would Bob the pigeon shooter be carrying his 12 in the streets of Paris? LOL The right to carry comes with the responsibility to be tactically/situationaly aware. You're right, a lot of people aren't fit to own a dog. How many kids get killed by dogs a year? 20? Let's ban all private ownership of dogs. I guarantee that'll end that problem and save all the kids.
  22. The 2nd amendment is definitely a huge part of US culture. I don't consider it a problem mind. They have social problems that lead to the 2A being abused. I agree that it would make me uneasy any old scrote being able to buy and concealed carry a Glock (or even open carry an AR or AK!), they probably aren't carrying it with the same level of responsibility or respect that the 2A intends. Just like people having a say in our countries politics with little actual objective care for the details, just an opinion based on a torrent of emotional unfounded blathering. When a significant propo
  23. This at the same time French authorities are preparing their military for potential civil unrest in their immigrant areas. As well as missile terror attacks carried out by this growing enemy army...... Pretty f***ing soon, we will be facing a trained, experienced, equipped and finally and importantly organised enemy force, akin to the IRA. What the f**k is going on? Maybe the French could offer free holidays to American servicemen as an effective counter terrorism strategy?
  24. The risk is still there even with a complete firearms ban. Though obviously reduced as there are less guns available. Freedom isn't about being safe, it comes with good and bad. Nonetheless it is freedom and a right to bear arms and defend is a fundamental part of freedom and indeed democracy.
  25. There's about 250 million Americans and about 3 times as many guns.....if anything I would say they are doing well with guns. 89 guns per 100 citizens,8583 murders by gun in 2011,doing pretty dam well! ....so people stop committing murder and violent crime if you take their guns away?
