  2. Fukcing blinding idea ... extreme cockney survival ...... Survive the Squirrels!
  3. While all us cool people (not nerds) are waiting for Game of Thrones S7 to start what's everyone watching? I'm quite into Blindspot and Lucifer right now. Been watching Blindspot since it came out but started Lucifer on a tip off and binged the hell out of it. Really like it!

The one for me for Nott's folk, particularly those north of the city is calling everyone 'youth', only you have to say it in a strained way as if you're forcing it out with your diaphragm. For Leicester, just say Les'staaar. Like a right f***ing chav and you've pretty much mastered that accent. LOL
  5. Then you'd end up getting prosecuted for assault with intent to rob or some such. Absolutely warped country we live in.
  6. If she was on private land when taking these pictures then isn't that a offence? I'm not sure if it's just the civil offence of trespass or if it comes under some Human Rights Law regarding privacy or even aggravated trespass.

Unless you sound like a member of the rolling stones, the Royal family or an extra from Oliver Twist, all Yanks think the English are Ozzies! LOL

Instant coffee, any brand I'm not fussy, shake some into a mug pour the hot water in and add milk. Apparently I'm a feral Heathen that needs civilising?
  9. What happens if we post on this thread at 11:11?
  10. It proves 100% that you looked at your watch at 11:11 Yes, but what if I don't? Then you probably don't need as much medication of the rest of the crazies on this thread! LOL
  11. Will it take considerable time and research to figure out how to fix it? Yes, then bin it. No, then I'll fix it. I haven't got the time or inclination to be buggering about unless it's worth it.
  12. Tomo's hangry! Have a Snickers mate.
  13. Happy Holidays to all you Yanks.
  14. I like it. But personally I don't give much of a shit about folk dying from knife violence any more than I do any other cause and don't really see why they deserve a monument in their memory anymore than RTA victims do.... If it's a cause that matters to him/others then by all means stick it on some private ground but hardly seems appropriate being made an official public monument.
  15. It'll be the stress of preparing for his 2020 Presidential campaign.
  16. I guess it depends where you are. Having a decent season myself with more birds around than I've seen in a few years. Staying on top of Charlie and having permissions with landowners that maintain natural cover and feeding for birds makes a big difference. Too many Gun clubs I find have members that do FA but turn up in November looking for easy shots while being conspicuous by their absence in terms of vermin control and other ground work the rest of the year. I'm totally unfamiliar with how your gun clubs work in Ireland but I imagine it's kinda similar to how the DIY syndicates work
  17. If you will yes, wild guesses. I'd call them untested theories. The significance is that the 'improbability of the universe harboring life' problem isn't only solved by "well there must be a god then". There are other possible rational and natural explanations. ALL OF THIS IS SPECULATION!
  18. It's not backed by any science mate. Simply freezing tissue destroys the cells. Freezing sperm etc follows a special procedure, water is removed from the cells for instance. We can't freeze organs and successfully regenerate them yet, bodies are a way off. The problem with it is not just in how to 'defrost' them but also how to freeze them so as not to damage the cells.
  19. She was already dead and in all probability simply freezing her will totally f**k the cells meaning even with future tech she will not be able to be revived. Given the choice though, at least she has a possibility. I hope that thought comforted the poor girl.
  20. Great post As you say these theories are totally impossible to test meaning that the multiverse theory is as much science as God or optimus prime farting a universe out... Dawkins for instance says we should believe nothing unless it can be proven and yet backs the multiverse theory I think this kind of thinking undermines the very principles of science and not the right approach as it's dead end thinking that can never be tested as you say. Indeed. I don't really listen to many folks opinions on it all, rather just ponder on it myself. However I do think that the average Joe Public
  21. I'll maybe have a look sometime, cheers.
  22. Intelligent design doesn't mean God. And the anthropic principle doesn't only have the conclusions of divine creation or single random act of nature.God is just a term for the creator is it not? Depends who you talk to but that's not really what I was getting at. I'll cut to the chase... Hawking's answer to the improbability of a universe forming life (the anthropic principle) is that the universe was created intelligently, not through the random process originally assumed. That doesn't mean God, as in a sentient intelligent being, simply an intelligent mechanism/process. One that can discr
  23. There's a few things to respond to there. For starters let me say that I didn't suggest there was infinite universes, just a creation process that produces/produced enough to make the creation of a life harboring one probable. I find the concept of infinity pretty unhelpful myself and tend to avoid it. So, if there's multiple universes then no there can't be one where no others exist, by definition. Also i can't really see how there could be one where a God like creator exists either. Whatever mechanism creates these hypothetical universes, it's common to them all and beyond them not creat
