It was the headline of the article so you would have seen where it came from as soon as you opened the link surely. I can see how the formatting lead to confusion though, I'll make sure to put the headline in bold in future Appreciated LOL. I admit it was lazy on my part to refer to that interpretation as BGD's for simplicity.

That was in same piece BGB put up mate, I read it early this morning ;-) I like to read as many sources as possible Yes, but don't you think what I highlighted and what BGD wrote give two quite different impressions on what is actually going on? BGDs interpretation suggested to me that Flynn was basically about to give a critical piece of information. But the quotation from his lawyer simply suggests that Flynn wants to try to clear his name but won't do it without immunity in what he considers a less than just political environment. I didn't write anything (unless you think I wor

Well that's one way of interpreting what's going on. Here's another, Robert Kelner, Mr Flynn's lawyer, confirmed his client had held discussions with the House and Senate intelligence committees, but he did not mention the FBI. "General Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit," Mr Kelner said. "The media are awash with unfounded allegations, outrageous claims of treason, and vicious innuendo directed against him. "He is now the target of unsubstantiated public demands by members of Congress and other political c

Cheers Snifferboy. I couldn't remember who offered before. I wasn't expecting anyone to do that for me, just a bit of guidance but I appreciate it and will PM you. Thanks again!

I'm not a expert on grief but in dealing with a few people that have been in a state of grief, the first things they usually say is "how am I going to afford this and what about doing that" whilst sobbing their hearts out. You can't help them with the heart ache but you can try to take that worry away and often it helps a lot. Having money just takes some of that worry away. Don't help with the heart ache though.

Did I just read that she claims gender isn't biological? Has she heard of chromosomes!

I can see the logic in the law but at the same time laws are only needed when something becomes a problem and should be used with a bit of discretion. Sad fact of modern Britain is that you just develop of sense of looking over your shoulder all the time. A lot of things that were completely acceptable 50 years ago are now legislated against. Either move somewhere that values freedom or play the game.

LOL, that's bollocks, I'm wrong plenty. Problem these days is that folks just want to listen to a credible source and believe their answer is the right answer, rather than going away a learning some of the established facts themselves. I like to do that. That doesn't mean that you can then form opinions on experiences because they aren't factual, they're subjective. But you can comment on facts as you see them. Tongue in cheek mate... By the way there's nothing wrong with being educated. Obviously you take in what you read and you understand it. Good for you. And I can't remember you b

Im not surprised or unsurprised really i was just making my own views of folks opinions heard thats all i wasnt digging you out im just of the " little bit of experience beats a lot of education " school of learning thats all and thought it was a logical question to ask. Fair enough. I'd welcome an expert of the conventions to come along and comment on this it'd certainly supersede my little bit of self education.

I agree, which I guess will surprise you. That's why I'm not telling folks what war is like. The closest I'll ever get to that is relaying accounts of others. Any rational person should be able to make a decision based on facts and evidence. The only times I'm chirping up here are when things like that are being discussed and misconstrued. I certainly wouldn't argue with a Afghan veteran about how Blackman must have felt.

No one lol i thought born hunter had as he knew so much sorry Fair enough, in that case I'll apologise for being sarcastic in response. And I don't know 'so much'. I'm just throwing stuff that I believe is factual out there. I welcome those facts being interrogated by others better than me.

Sorry I thought you knew what you were on about rather than googling it that's all hun x LOL, Soldiers don't interpret the law hun, judges do.... And besides, if you have to be an industry professional to call out a fallacy then there's not many on this forum that has any place discussing law or ethics. So your a judge? No, but clearly you are knowing all about the laws of war and what laws Blackman broke right?

Do you know what the Geneva convention is? x Do you? You do realise he wasn't prosecuted for breaking the GC right? Yes I do obviously or I wouldn't ask. He might not of been prosecuted under it but if he never broke it then he wouldn't be in all this trouble now would he? There are laws that govern the armed forces other than the GC Act you know. He was prosecuted under the Armed Forces Act. The conventions only apply to belligerents if both parties adhere to them. You don't have to be a signatory or to have ratified this piece of international law but you do have to adhere to i

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/03/29/britains-biggest-landlord-bans-coloured-people-curry-smell/ How dare you decide who you let your own property to! Rebecca Hilsenrath, chief executive of the Equality and Human Rights Commission, said: "There are still deep inequalities in our society as our race report demonstrated and these comments show why. "As a country we all assume we have left the dark ages behind, but clearly there is more to be done. "We will investigate and will be asking Mr Wilson to explain his actions. Unless we are satisfied that he will not break the l

That article may have it wrong and I didn't say anything when socks mentioned it earlier but I'm pretty sure he didn't do 6 stints I afghan as Stiffs has pointed out now. From memory he did 6 tours of Iraq and Afghanistan together, Telic and Herrick. Edit; 5 tours, Telics 1, 5 & 7 and Herrick 7 & 14.

Don't worry chaps, if this one fails there'll be another go in a couple years. "Once in a generation"...... f***ing rabbit generations!

I think seeing the green, maroon and sand coloured berets at the marches and press conferences speaks volumes myself. That's not to say that servicemen who feel let down by the man are wrong. You make your opinion based on what you're presented with and if you feel it warrants support then you give it. It's that simple.
