I can't see any brains? I'm assuming he used the pistol to do himself, probably a small calibre which hasn't left an exit wound and he's just bled out through the entry wound in his mouth leaving a pool of claret. I'm just speculating, I've not got much experience with gun suicides, lol.

Watson's video didn't mention the cameras the shooter had set up either! Is that true or not? If it is, that's some serious tactical forethought that had been done by the shooter! Although being a supporter of 2A and hunting is typically seen as being right wing there is a left wing element. Orwell for instance. I don't want to draw anything close to even a theory yet but I'm looking at two really significant things, the targeted demographic and the level of planning that seems to have gone into this. It's hard not to be biased of course but this one just doesn't seem 'normal'.

Think it was 3-4 days. Allegedly took him ten bags worth of loads to get them all in. Just doesn't make sense to me. That's some serious planning for such a typically emotional act of violence.

A lot of people would have to die and Spain would have to act totally irresponsibly before the international community were willing to step in surely. I'd hope NATO would be upholding democracy not aiding in oppressing it.

It really doesn't add up very nicely. The level of planning that seems to have gone into this attack and the lack of obvious motive is just not typical. I'm still very suspicious that this was politically motivated. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/stephen-paddock-las-vegas-shooting-cameras-set-up-around-hotel-room-latest-a7981681.html

Yeah the limit might be 12% but it's produced at 11% to keep a safe legal margin.

Thank f**k you said it because if I had I'd have been ripped to bits. Personal responsibility and independence isn't encouraged by giving everyone crutches they shouldn't need. The specialist mental and perhaps physical health needs of servicemen are another matter.

I'm a genuine person and I can't legally get hydrogen peroxide over 11%.

Nah you're mistaken Stiffy, he's got the operator beard.

You're right, retribution doesn't always act as an effective deterrent. Someone contemplating an acid attack won't just forget about their grievance either, even if retribution was a deterrent, the offenders would likely turn to another type of violence (they'd diversify, lol). I'd still call that an improvement but you're right the best solution has to be one that prevents these people even considering violence. It's got to be cultural! That was going to be my next point! Haha.... You would think that acid attacks are an impulse to a situation or at worse random violence, but not a long ter

In addition, new restrictions on chemicals will "drastically limit" the public sale of sulphuric acid due to its use in the production of "mother of Satan" - the homemade explosive believed to have been used in the Manchester Arena terror attack and the failed bomb plot at Parsons Green Tube station. Will it effectively reduce terrorists ability to make bombs or just force them to diversify? Possession of Hydrogen Peroxide (used for bleaching skulls for example) in concentrations over 11% requires a license now, has that reduced terrorism in the UK? As well intentioned as these t

It's not exactly reassuring to think who might replace her though is it! I'm a fan of Reese-Mogg but surely he's not really in with a decent chance? Then again he is to the Tories what Corbyn is to Labour I guess. so who knows. Is there anyone in the line up that is really better? Hammond, f**k no! Boris, be a laugh but not a success. Davis? Ruth Davidson? It's about time Dan Hannan was brought into the mix imo.

Some of that has been in the pipeline for a while. I didn't know about the proposed firearm restrictions though. Got to make you laugh, they're restricting 50BMG further, I'm sure as a 'cautionary measure', which in reality will have utterly no impact on public safety. What do they mean by 'certain rapid firing weapons'? The 22 rimfire exemption, straight pull, lever release? The Tories really are pricks when it comes to gun rights.

These's one video clip of a guy running & filming himself on his phone while saying "silly me, I should brought my gun......." Was that Dan Bilzerion? Bearded fella? Yes http://www.thisisinsider.com/las-vegas-shooting-marine-vet-criticizes-instagram-star-dan-bilzerian-2017-10 He doesn't get much respect, the king of instagram. Lol

If I had read that ten years ago I'd probably have walked a different path. Irrespective, well written.

IMO what's left of gun rights in the UK hang by a thread. We are being marginalised by the licensing authorities and they are taking harder stances on anything suspect in the name of 'caution'. All it'd take is for a fella with a 243 and a screw lose to set himself up at a similar population centre in the UK, a music festival, city centre, football match and set about it and I reckon owning a rifle for sporting purposes will be gone for good. They'll be treated the same as pistols for HD, only professionals will be permitted. There'll be no argument of liberty because nobody gives a shit.
-
Jukel credit to you because I think that that is a fair and solid representation of the gun control lobbie's argument. So I commend you on that. I accept that I do and will cede liberty for security at times I feel it a valuable trade. All but the most fundamentalist and ardent 2A proponents will not interpret that constitutional right in it's most absolute way. As is quite legitimately pointed out by the likes of you, that would mean that citizens should have the right to posses nuclear weapons! So even now there is compromise by the vast vast majority. I'm a British national, so I

It does seem totally confusing! Usually by now there is an indication as to the motive. His brother genuinely seemed totally shocked. From what we're being told the fella had a pretty decent and normal life. It's crossed my mind that perhaps his gambling had become a problem though. I dare say the mans internet activity will allude to the truth.

Got you stumped for an intelligent reply though hasn't it commy.

Just in case anyone cares beyond their impulsive reaction to 'BAN GUNS'. His automatic weapons were illegally converted from legal semi auto weapons and he had a couple pounds of an explosive precursor in his car. So now we're at ban semi auto rifles and ban fertiliser.... Of course then he'd of maybe converted semi-auto handguns to be full auto or maybe just taken a bolt action and picked folks off or maybe even just found another way to make a bomb and used that. That's assuming you can clean up the black market so future shooters can't access such weapons at all, which lets not

"Why didn't the Police save my daughter from being raped?" "Because they can't and you gave away her ability to do it for herself. Now fix your f***ing attitude towards making every citizen impotent."

That's great, as long as you can see that through, even when it conflicts with your own personal beliefs & feelings. That's when it can unravel. I would say Born is probably one of the best examples on here of someone who believes in the freedom to do something, even when conflicts with his own personal view...... People just think I'm a gun nut or only value liberty because much of hunting is banned. But it's really more fundamental than that for me. Thanks for noticing that.
