  1. For the most part they were right though.... So much so they done $3M in winnings before finding a savvy official!
  2. LOL, you say that like there isn't a war going on. Bombing Kyiv was of no tactical value. Hence stating it's in retaliation is kinda significant.
  3. I see Russia bombed f**k out of Ukraine/Kyiv yesterday. I assume purely retaliation for the Crimea-Russia bridge attack.
  4. Seen that last week. Surprised they didn't get lynched. It'd be pretty easy to catch cheaters tbf, just keep records of fish weights and sizes and you'll spot trends of certain people having unrealistically heavy fish. Then spot check them in future comps.
  5. The bug bottom right was a fair lump. Long way off being a lobster mind.
  6. I don’t think anyone has claimed it. If it was UKR state they’d be all over it I’d have thought. The reason for its importance is because it’s the only bridge connecting Crimea to Russia actual. The bridge to the north is to occupied Ukraine, which is looking not so secure.
  7. Quite a strategic blow that bridge. Crimea is looking vulnerable. Also, seems like a potential suicide attack. Which is next level in this conflict.
  8. A fella I used to know, in his 70s now, told me a story about coming home from the pub one night with mates. They were driving a country lane in Notts and passed some randomer walking in the dark. One of them suggested murdering this stranger, for obvious reasons of there being absolutely no evidence really connecting them. The others laughed it off until he dropped it and nothing happened but the old boy who was recounting it said it sent shivers through him because he absolutely believed the psycho was up for it. Now whether or not that tale is true, these people exist, and the only thi
  9. Well if I’ve learnt anything about clandestine assassinations it’s to wait until your target is stood next to the president when you whack them. That’s the way to lose the Feds!
  10. Is there any truth that it’s a ‘thing’ that missing persons in national parks are killed by practicing killers? Mackem? You’re bound to have had a coffee with someone in the know!
  11. Fantastic series and amazingly not renewed for a third season. The main serial killing guy was the absolute spit of the real fella. Was fascinating getting, an albeit dramatised, look into his mind.
  12. One of my favourite times of year. I don’t get involved with all the keepering stuff anymore, but I love dogging in. I’m fortunate to have a very nice self contained signature drive to dog in on two minutes from home. Sounds daft but I have lads come over just to put a sensible number of birds in front of their dog. Its quite pleasing seeing three figures picked on the drive you have been looking after and have the keeper say in front of the whole line “that’s your hard work”. Which is of course modest nonsense, there’s much more to keepering than running spaniels about, but it shows genu
  13. Regular sicario you. 100% you’ll be on the badger cull… and everyone will have to hear about it.
  14. Because killing it would do absolutely nothing for control but probably weaken the quality of what is only a small population, and produce no meat of value. I’d have a fantastic head sitting in peroxide right now, which I’ve wanted for some time. But he wasn’t the one, not this time at least. On other land, I’ve took plenty of heads. But it is just that, taking a trophy. Any other reason is just an excuse. Took a muntjac doe off the same place tonight. That’s actual meaningful control.
  15. Absolute nonsense. You don’t control deer populations by killing dominant males. Real control is done in the winter months fella.
  16. In places that are hooching with stuff I wouldn’t be bothered and would likely be boiling his head out today. Just seemed wrong.
  17. Was out for a munty last night and within 10 mins found this guy holding 3 hinds with a calf each. Shit pic, but he was tearing up the field, head back with his lip curling. Let out the odd roar. I looked around for a lesser stag but couldn’t see one. Unfortunately the only reds I’ve ever had a chance on have all been master stags and so far I’ve refused to kill them… I did see something I’ve never witnessed or heard of before. I watched a munty literally chase a fox for two fields, before I lost sight. Came out the same paddock as the stag. Couldn’t have been more than five ya
  18. It is mate. It's a shop, but it's more like a mini natural history museum. About half way down broadway.
  19. Look for a little taxidermy type shop on broadway called evolution. I think you’ll like having a nose around there.
  20. I was the opposite funnily enough, didn't rate TX or OKH really. Nothing wrong with them, just not places I'd make the effort to go back to. I reckon Wyoming/Montana/Idaho/Colorado would be a bit of me though. Even Virginia and North Carolina.
  21. I loved it there and will go back one day. Enjoy.
  22. Can we be sure it’s not a hologram?
  23. Just what I thought. Second pic.
  24. Kids now don’t understand that we couldn’t rewind and pause tv, or for that matter control it with a remote. I’m not even old and I’ve seen changes that the young generation would think I was lying about. I’m just old enough to remember a time before internet and mobile phones were the norm. That’s how fast tech advances. I would say within my lifetime cash will be history. The post millennial generations will demand it imo. But who knows in this crazy world.
