  3. from what ive seen working dogs that are normaly for sale come in 2 types..or from 2 types of people! no1 is from the peddler/bullshitter/dogdealer it will be shite wont stay jacks ect ect no2 is the slightly better one it will be off some muppet who will likely be a young man but in his 6 years of having dogs he will have had 2 coursing dogs 7 terriers 2 whippets a beddyx and now is into the bullXs.....chops and changes when the novelty wears off but the dogs aften see a lot of work because he dont give a feck where he goes or what he digs....

  9. well theirs few stories about the terriers treeing cats.... thier was a woman 2 roads away got all arsey about the lurcher wandering about, but she has a handfull of cats that very often come INTO our house and steal our cats food (mothers cats...fecking things) so i asked he how is it ok for her pets to do this and not ok fo rmine to walk about the spot doing ts own thing? she says " well cats are cats"........yes love and cat flaps have a one way lock on them
  10. when we were kids not that long ago we would go on the ratch with out few dogs and 2 russles that wonderd the estate and could be lured away as well a a couple of dog we would borrow from various men about the spot...some good times we had too but half the "pack" would feck off home at some stage and we would be left with our two i quite like to see a dog roaming about the estate it kinda brings back memories,,, my lurcher will do it now and them but he knows his way home and every one knows who he belongs too...and no one can catch him

  18. i think from memory a 338 lap round of any quality over hear would be about £7-9 ($14 ish) if you could source them but any one with the head to get a rifle built would be rooling their own ive always reloaded my ammo for the.223 ...243..22-250 and the 300wim mag but i only had the win for a little while i bought 100 ppu ammo FMJ realy cheap just to get used to the gun and ended up reloading it (as a side note varget is not soo good for the .300!) and used it on the hinds and forestry stage for a season. running about 180grn ..then just before i sold it i had a play about with some lighter b

  20. having just broke up with a girl who i was woth for a long long time who was very anti hunting shoting fishing.....and yes ime a mole catcher! trust me its not a good way to be living! every lil outing was met with distain and silent treatment! she will eather have to come to terms with it or your gona be one unhappy bunny
  21. i had game targets made from 1/4 steel in crow fox and rabbit...and 2x 12" half inch armour plate sheets on a swinging frame for the bigger stuff or longer range... whats the price like out their for ammo? i was paying close to £3 a shot for factory .300win for decent stuff! thats about what $7 a go?!
  22. That's not to shabby. Any gun that will put 5 shots in 1/2 MOA groups is good enough for me. That's pretty much my standard for long range hunting accuracy. It won't compete on the benchrest circuits but will lay game down way out there given you do your part right. When you consider your playground beyond 600 yards you pretty well enter into a different more advanced side of the long range game. Better range finders are required, extreme spread and standard deviation in bullet velocities must be tested and tweeked in conjuction with accuracy, match grade bullets are a must, putting a level on
