What cookie says is almost correct most will run the hedge,,,, however some will cross a field especially if there's a hedge close on the other side,,,, also some rabbits bolt out in to the field,, go about 10 meters befor doubling back in a semi circle ,, so a net running parrelel will catch these,,,, but I prefer to keep the net running parrelel fairly close to the hedge. Another good tip , is to put purse nets on the run, that goes up the inside of the hedge, have a good look under the hedge you should see a well trodden path,,, usually right in the middle of the hedge,, connecting the

I have pushed a few dogs to the edge, thankfully I have always had a possative outcome. One that sticks out well though was not my dog,,, it was a greyhound belonging to a mate,, it had never ran a daytime hare,, as it was a young track dog,, the first two hares it ran it missed,,,, not wrong in that.. So it was rested for an hour or so ,, it then went and killed the next two it ran,,,,,, unwisely he ran it on a fifth hare,,, oh dear,,, it only went a few hundred yards befor it went over,,, luckily I was right where it fell, and got over to it and started getting it on its feet and rubbin

Had in invite off trigger today for a wander round the hills of Shropshire ,,so me and vin headed off over there to meet up with trigger and and bird,,, After a butty in the roadside cafe we headed off up the hill,, and it wasn't long till we had a flush from some cover and the rabbit dropped in a nearby set,,,whilst me and vin neted up , bryn was marking a set in the cover where the bunny came from,, well we bolted our rabbit,,, which slipped the net, vins fault,,, and it also got past both dogs,,,doh So then over to where ray and trigger were netting up,, in with the stinkers, and two

Desert ,,, the price at Melton can vary tremendously ,,, I have seen eu crosses go for over £50',,, also seen silvers go for £30's,,, and lots of other nice type Jill's go for 15-20 quid.... Just depends when you go,,,, personally I prefer to give them away to hopefully decant owners,,, in fact I have some surplus hobs,,, that I'm toying with letting go, if non of my mates want any.
