    Good them mate,,, one I saw wasn't quite as grand as those,, it was just a normal hutch, but corner shaped,, no bottom run

    Saw one once that was made to fit in a corner of a yard,,, so it was shaped like a letter L. I have been looking at those garden storage sheds for push bikes,, about 6 foot wide and between 2 and 3 foot deep about 4 foot high,,, they have double doors on the front,, that could be easily made in to wire meshed doors

    A football pitch is between 100 and 130 yards!! Two football pitches end to end would be 200 t0 260 yards. I can see what you mean about peoples perception of distance being wrong. Yep just read my post,,, realised I wrote it incorrectly thank you,,, I ment to say 200 yard is just short of the length of 2 football pitches.. Cheers

    Get to your local market,,go to a stall that sells suitcases and bags,, you can usually buy a cheap small rucksack for a fiver,, or get camera type bag,,,,, or you can get those man bag type things,, you some times see chavs wearing,,,, Or even a bum bag.

    That's always been my experience brigzy,,,people's perception of distance goes when it's dark,, a 100 yard is just short of two football pitches end to end. I'm lucky to have a field at the side of my house,, with rabbits on it particularly the far hedge,,,well me being a bit of a geek,, I've pased it out at 220 paces,, roughly 200 yard,,,the rabbits can be difficult in the day to see,,lol,,, at night there very hard to see

    With regard to this following the beam 800 yard,,,,, I know some of you would lamp large game at great distance,,,ie let the dog see the eyes reflected,, and the dog wind the said beast,,turn the lamp off as the dog ran down to the quarry,,, then the lamp back on .. With rabbits,, I still maintain seeing a rabbit beyond 300 yard on the lamp is dam near impossible,,, Ok sometimes you may get a long slip,, 200 yard,, and the rabbit and dog,, run the other way and of course you keep the lamp on in the general area where they are,,, and sometimes you get a catch...     Regarding hunting up on the lamp,,, in most instances this is a no ,no,,,, however there are times, when hunting a bit of long grass or ruff set aside for a rabbit can be done,,, and I have done it many times, with great success ,, but of course this comes from experience and trusting in the dog, and having control of the dog...
