I worked briefly with a gamekeeper back in the ,s who had lamped with a black patterdale ,, it was quite a big male,, and he had some success at rabbits,, this was not far from Newark

Yep,,been a few threads on this,,, I haven't seen a single m3 that has been accurate with the depth,,, Reacantly vin was out with a few other lads,, they had 5 mk3 locators with them ,,and not 1 was accurate

Cracking night that mate,, as you say it was perfect for it,, me and vin were out,, but I finished early with a slight nock to the dog.... Wind was perfect wasn't it,, it was that strong it was hard to walk forward in to it up hill,,, and coming back down the gusts kept pushing me forward

Depends what your using the net for,, are you using it in the traditional way for catching hares at night in a gateway ,, ? Or is it just going to be used as a stop net for ferreting,,, they can be two vastly different things. What's the mesh size,, ?
