    Best cure for the itching is hot water,,,,as hot as you can stand,,,for as long as you can stand,,,,best done in a shower with a movable head,,,,,I promise it works,,,but the key thing is,,as hot as possible,,for as long as possible... Just to add,,you do this direct to the bites,,,not the rest of your body,,obviously

    Ive made lovely sloe gin in early sept,,,so long as there ripe,,,,and I don't bother freezing them either,,,or pricking them with a pin,,, Where you take the stalk off creates a hole anyway,,,fill the bottle up with a 1/3 rd to half with sloes,,,add some sugar,,,top up with gin,,,vodka ect,,,,give it a gentle shake once a week,,,enjoy at crimbo,,,simples

    16/16 ! But I would have been ashamed to get one wrong - "me owd mam" still uses a lot of those phrases !BH, do you say "Rain-worth" or "Rennuth" ? Blidduth ? Wood'uss ? The latter, the correct way. LOL I got 15/16, never say or heard 'masht' but then I'm more nott's border anyway. I don't think I have a strong accent like folk from north of the city.     Remember years ago the dogs running a hare on a farm lane,,just as the farmer was coming up the lane in a 4x4,,, he had to stop,,the dogs were running up and down about 100 meters up then back down,,and repeating,,,it wouldn't run through the hedge either side,,,they eventually caught it,,,right in front of the truck,,,luckily he was OK about it

And what a stroke of luck we had late last night,,,me and the family have been away for for a month touring round France and Spain ,,,we were due to catch the ferry today at lunch time,,,but coming up France yesterday,,the wife said let's keep going ,,and I will see if I can change the ticket ,,,wich she did,,,cost just £9 ,,,had to catch a ferry at 1 am this morning....
