  1. Like Fluff, says look for woods that have burys, where your not easily seen, if you do hedges in flat fields, you will stick out like a sore thumb, if caught just say, its your first time ferreting, and didn't know you needed to have permission, say this in a nice way. If you are going out soon, keep away from Sheep, they will all be in lamb now, and if the farmer spots a dug near them, he will not be happy.
  2. Always think DB is a brave man coming on here, there is two things on here that would get you ripped to pieces, 1, A positive post about Muslims, 2, State you dont mind Chris Packham.
  3. I think it should be shown on meat products in Supermarkets and Butchers, in large enough writing that the Public can see, this is halal meat, then its up to us to buy or not.
  4. Im always surprised that nothing seems to be done about Boko Harem, I know they are busy with ISIS, but you would think they would do something, as they will spread.
  5. I could be wrong, but is the reason they don't stun, is because they say a stunned animal cant hear the prayers? if this is wrong could someone enlighten me why they don't stun?
  6. You live in a good place Ireland, there's lots of good greyhound vets over there, and bone men, find out where the nearest track is to you, and have a word, someone should point you in the right direction, they should be able to tell you where you can purchase raw Beef, chicken etc, Greyhound men are a great source of info, You can buy small tins of Sardines in tomato sauce, cheap in Lidls or Aldis 40p give it one for breakfast, and buy some cheap supermarket mince beef, till you find a good source.
  7. I could say its a photo of the wife, or i could say I like wearing Ladies slippers

  10. the one I use most is what Joe calls his moochers basket, takes four 10 ft stop nets, light as a feather, wouldn't know it was on your back.
  11. Used to see Clapton when he was with John Mayall, and then when in Cream, also used to love watching The Spencer Davis group, when i lived in Birmingham, then Steve Winwood played more guitar, with some piano, but later was better known for his Hammond organ playing, but he teamed up with his pal Clapton a few years ago, and played Madison Square Gardens, the two were on lead guitar trading licks with each other, and i would say Winwood came across the better guitarist, which I was surprised at. surprised that Mark Knopfler doesn't feature more, i know he is not flash, but when you here his
  12. Just booked a trip to Morocco. Bit of trecking in the Atlas mountains then a few days on the beach at Essaouira. You been mate ? Been to Marrakesh, and through the Atlas mountains, and had a day at Essaouira, that's where Jimi Hendrix wrote Castles Made Of Sand.

  15. Maybe its because some Publicans need to get a grip, I was in a Scottish pub last week, had the car, so asked for a 1/2 pint soda and lime, no ice, and was charged £1.
  16. McCartney is more than just a bass player ... Not a big McCartney fan, preferred Lennon, but he is no bad Bass player check out SGT Pepper CD, some tasty Bass lines. not as good as the greatest rock Bassist Jack Bruce, saw him a few times live with Cream.
  17. My dog is murder with bones, any you give, he buries immediately, then spends all day burying, moving the bone, and re burying. never seen him chew one, then the next day he will dig it up, and try and bring it into the house with an inch of earth stuck to it, don't bother with bones now. not good keeps their teeth right.
  18. My Whippet x beddy, was a cracking marker, she would silent mark, then just tilt her head, then quietly lie behind the bury. my current dog which is also a good marker, will put his head in the bury, and if occupied, will have a little scart with his front feet, his dam mark exactly the same, the only thing I would not want is a dog that whines down the bury. most rabbiting dogs love marking.
