    The EU are going to pay African countries 2 billion to take back economic migrants, with the amount of corruption in these countries, I guess there will be a few rubbing their hands.

    Did anyone watch last night, the section on the Leverets,couldn't believe the lack of nose on the wolves. The Leverets just lay flat to the ground and the wolves were walking past them, maybe at that young age they have no scent, but you would think any hunting dog with a decent nose would have picked them up.

    I'd second that mate, i get asked about purse nets all the time, I dont knit purse nets for people any more, not even friends. I dont send people anywhere other than Bill, ive seen his work first hand. Bill is a top man, cracker net maker.

    The best Hare catching dog I ever seen slept in front of the fire, and on top of the owners bed, saw it run against all type of crosses that would have been kenneled,

    Just watched this western on bt vision, and as a film buff who likes a good western, and they don't make many now I really enjoyed it, won't tell you the story but if you can watch it, check it out bags of action and a good storyline.

    It would not make any difference to me, but as the thread was about Carl Williams whippet x Greyhound, some may have been interested in what type he used in his breeding programme. ,

    You could use track Greyhounds, but when he was breeding Carl had ex Coursing Bitches.

    I had a Carl Williams dog a number of years a go, ultra fast, but not the best of feet on him, I could be wrong, but I heard Carl is not involved in the dog game anymore.

    I had a nice piece of permission with a road that run along side it, antis bought a house near the road, farmer told me if they saw my dog chase a rabbit they would report me for Hare coursing, and he did not want any hassle, so I lost it.

    If like myself you use boarding kennels you have to get boosters and up to date kennel cough, or they won't take the dog, I don't believe in boosters, but they have you by the short and curlies

    Ive been using Blendbetter minced Beef, Salmon, and Chicken, the Mutt is not to keen on the Salmon, the beef is okay, but seems to have a lot of offal in it, the Chicken is okay, Blendbetter buy raw from Nisbet.

    Nisbet dog foods Ayrshire do raw, they also deliver, as do DAF, both have websites, Blendbetter of Carlisle also deliver, and do South West Scotland, but i hear they buy their raw from Nisbet.

    Must rate as one of the worst, if you like these shows, save your money next year and go to Lowther.

    Go on to the Greyhound scene forum, its a busy forum, lots of owners, trainers, and syndicates use it, you will get a lot more info on there, if you do a search, there's lots of posts on syndicates.

    I just take a bag for my nets, but have used this bag for years, holds 20 nets, made from strong canvas, just got a Seamstress to make it, handy bit of kit, had it about 40 years.
