  1. Only went diving once, years ago in Port Erin Isle of Man, I was working there at the time and was taken by a work mate, never dived before, went in alone with all the gear plus the bottle on the back, did okay, then saw a grey shape, I near shit myself, couldn't get out quick enough, my workmate was killing himself, it was a Seal, I refused to get back in.
  2. Miss old Paxman, he could certainty make them squirm, the other top presenter has to be Andrew Neil.
  3. It must be the most difficult job on Television, being a political presenter, just watched the Andrew Marr show, where he asked Ed Balls a question about five times, all it took was a yes or no, but he refused to answer. The question was, would you do a deal with the SNP, I cant understand why he could not say yes or no, I think a lot lot of Labour supporters down South, would not be happy if they did. Personally, I cant see it happening. they are so far apart, they would want Trident removed, etc. Nigel Farage says they could do a deal with the Tories, but he would want the EU referendum t
  4. I have a wide range of friends , many of them are labour supporters, but no one appears to like him, he is just not PM material, and Labour MPs will know this, they picked the wrong Milliband, and it was too late even months ago to change, I have to say if Alan Johnson was leader, then Labour would be doing a lot better in the polls. And i don't think Ed Balls is helping their cause either.
  5. Nicola Sturgeon is not daft, you just have to look whats happened to the Lib Dems, its always the smaller party that gets a hammering.
  6. The problem with introduced species is, most are meat eaters apart from Beavers, so right away hill farmers will be up in arms, I heard the guy talking on Radio Scotland about this, and he said their chosen prey would be Roe Deer, which have a healthy population. regarding the Beaver I don't know much about damage to Salmon spawning, but there's a lot of Beaver in Canada, and also Salmon, and they appear to spawn okay, i think they are being monitored for environment damage. I think it would not be good if they are damming spawning streams. I was in Mull last year, and saw a White tailed Sea
  7. Its a pity the producer didn't retaliate, with a decent punch, that would have given him a shock, be interesting what the BBC do with him, as he was on a final warning. Any other job, punching a work colleague, you would be down the road.
  8. A car is only something for me to get from A to B, so Top gear has never interested me, and I must be the only Man in the UK that's never watched it.
  9. The BBC has suspended Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson "following a fracas" with a producer. He was put on what was called his final warning last year following a racism row after claims that he used the n-word while reciting the nursery rhyme Eeny, Meeny, Miny Moe during filming of the BBC2 programme. A BBC spokeswoman said: "Following a fracas with a BBC producer, Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. "No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time." In recent years Clarkson has be

  13. Years ago i worked a Bill Brightmore Pat, she would work above and below, i did use her on rabbits, along with my Beddy X Whippet, who did have the better nose, but i suppose a lot of pats have a nose, regarding the Plummer I have never seen one work so cant comment, but they appear useful, there's lads on here that work them, so they would be the best to answer your question.
  14. why not? ive never seen one but would like to,why would a big, racy, hard, quiet patterdale dog lack that a bedlington or russel has in your opinion? Bedlingtons have always had a reputation for having a good nose, not saying the Patterdale cross wouldn't but all my Beddy crosses, have had excellent noses on them, essential for the rabbiting game.
  15. Why would it have biscuits attached to its collar, and been covered in food?
  16. Hope this linc works, and the Greyhound finds a good home to live out his retirement which he deserves, we certainly live in a sad World. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/greyhound-found-badly-injured-south-8767858 Sorry dont think linc is working, if anyone can stick it up, please do.
  17. Regarding Boosters, for years I never bothered, and never had any bother, now because I take him to boarding kennels, on holiday breaks, I have to have up to date boosters, and kennel cough, which I think is a rip off. But on the subject of a booster, i have always lived in a Distemper and parvo low area, if i lived in a high area, I would have to find out if a booster would be advised, but who do you ask? not a Vet, as I know what his or hers answer would be.
  18. On the news tonight, they have more evidence, looks like Sir Cliff is going to get his collar felt.
  19. Jim Murphy has claimed £1.30 on a bottle of Iron Bru. His total claims under the additional cost allowance between 2,004 and 2,008 came to £87,086.
  20. Any one tryed gain record breaker I've been using it for a while. the first two ingredients are fresh chicken 22% dried chicken 22% its £20 a bag and as far as dry food goes for £20 and under I can't find nothing better. Fresh Chicken, try sending Gain an email or letter, asking them what part of the Bird is used in their product. Most certainly cuts that are by products of the chicken industry such as head, neck, wings, gizzard, heart, liver etc. . . this is all good chicken to a dog as I have yet to meet any dog with human values that would rather eat only prime cuts and waste the rest. Y

  22. I just keep it simple, two handfuls of a complete, I make sure its 20% I know a few on here use higher protein, say 28% but with feeding meat i find the dog does well on a 20%, with one frozen veg cube, and 5mls of ultimate oil.
  23. The soles are shit i had the Tay, they were three months old, was going down a wet grass hill, feet just went from me, grabbed a fence to break my fall, ended up in A&E four stitches in finger. The thing that got me was, I emailed them telling them what happened, stating my concern of the soles on their boots, and i never got a reply.
