  1. Dunno what its called or how to make it but my mum cooked this pheasant in cider with apples chopped in.... I thought she had finally lost it but that shit was good Best way I have had pheasant.
  2. Lowa Munrow! They are the best boots I have ever worn.. Non gortex so you feet dont sweat all day and are just as water proof as gortex is looked after well. I have tried gortex and just hate it, yes it is very waterproof but it isnt breathable, making your feet wet with sweat  Also, a month back I slipped over and landed on something hard which snapped one of the boot clips off, I sent it back to lowa and they replaced the boots free of charge.
  3. I dont have a volume icon bottom left of screen, there is one bottom right but there is no option for properties

  5. This is really pissing me off now The sound on my computer is really low and I can only just hear my music. The volume in the bottom right corner is fully up and so is the media player volume. Any ideas as it is really getting on my nerves
  6. I find food dosent go a miss when keeping dogs Well under weight and not even any muscle tone.
  7. spade? NO!! Gun  I have had a couple of ferrets that I dont believe were repairable, they had a screw loose! Its almost as if they just want you blood! Nippers can be cured but some are just loonys...
  8. Fishing in Summer, hunting in Winter, thats about how my year plans out.
  9. Not bad, but not on of his best so far.
  10. Apart from potentially giving your ferts flees etc it will do no harm at all
  11. I know a technique that would stop the biting strait away
  12. Not sure about that, at the tail end of summer here we were over run with mixy, I thought my season was out the window, but they seemed to have regenerated and we havent had a mixy in the last 35 odd rabbits. I hope it stays clear next summer, just horible seeing rabbits suffering slowly. Discusting disese
  13. The minimum posts before being alowed to post in the classifieds is good idea on paper, but I would fear that it you would get alot more shitty posts from them trying to mak e the amount of posts up.
  14. Fecking hell I have never seen that, will have to try it soon. Dont think I will change my usual method but I am always forgeting knives and that looks a hell of alot easier than trying to rip em' open on barber wire fencing!
  15. That chicken has probably spatchcocked itself
  16. Fecking hell, just had a look :tongue4:
  17. Very good book Only thing I dont like about it, is some pictures clearly appear to be played about with.
  18. The way I learnt is getting someone to hide it, and then finding it, give it a try. The method I use is to scan around on SEARCH, until you get to below 8 foot on the LED's , then swich it to LOCATE, scan around further, following the sound on the locator (high pitch getting closer) then once you are confident you are fairly near, start to turn the PIN POINTER slowly until you hear nothing, wave the locator over the ground, if you still hear nothing then move the PIN POINTER back until you hear the sound and then you should be more or less on top of the ferret. It takes some getting u
  19. a passion for angling ?? one of the best, so calm and nice . lovely i cannot see that series ever being beaten...it was just so perfect IMHO..... There is a new programme coming out soon, by Wilsons nephew Martin Bowler, which is supposed to rival it. Going by the fish that has been landed for it and that Hugh Miles is behind it, I think it will be close. I agree passion for angling is great, a little over romatisized at times and some parts are clearly scripted but very good non the less. The scene when the kingfisher lands on rod tip, is one in a million I have seen
  20. i used dowel myself but the ali ones are the dogs bol.. and not atoll heavy i was paying about 15p each for them at a local country show for the last couple of years but the bloke that made them wasnt there this year or should i say last year I wouldnt mind giving them a try. Shouldnt be to hard to make them yourself I wouldnt think, need a sheet if ali and a hacksaw or angle grinder. Quite alot of of effort for a few pegs though.
  21. Why metal? Abit over kill isnt it? They look abit big and heavy too. 15mm doweling, cut to 4.5", sharpened one end with hole drilled through the other. Small, light weight and stick like shit to a blanket lol Edit, I also use hazel but dowel is a good (if not better) alternative if you have non seasoned.

  23. Would like to say he's 19tts, but I think that would be pushing it a bit. I do try to discourage the net standing thing but only time will show with that. At least if he gets cold I can stick him in my pocket with the ferrets to keep him warm TBF has asked me to help him with another film about dogging this time but Im not sure about this because he asked me to leave Little Ted at home All the best, Nik Think hes refering to the other type of dogging My pup (well 15 months now) used to always step on the nets and knock them out the way, done my head in but shes st
