  1. Yeh, great idea  I havent yet read a post of yours that isnt complete and utter shite.... I know what DS meens about not being able to trust a ferret once it has bitten a couple of times. I got one at the moment, when I got her she was a total looney, would bite any chance she got. She hasnt bit me for a good 4 months odd, yet I cant just reach down and pick her up without thought like the rest. She has that twinkle in her eye that I know if she had the chance she would bite.. I am thinking of rehoming her as it is getting on my nerves, wont be easy as I do like the old gal though
  2. Hares arent affected by mixy.... Only rabbits are. year why is that?????????? Mainly because hares are not rabbits... I dont get the queston. As much as it pains me to say it, they are so fecking cute We had a few young'uns 'bolt' yesterday, first all season.

No difference in the actualy locator. Personally I cant see the point in a graphite one, why would you buy it over a hi-viz? The only difference is it is harder to see. I think they would be better if they were full hi-viz both sides.
  4. Nice looking box, but what happens if its raining?
  5. Young leaves are hairy, the leaf stems have white hairs growing on them and obviously haxel nuts. The leaves are fairly rounded going into a point. The bark can also peel abit. Winter, well they have catkins (google it) and generally grow in sprigs with lots of similally size branches growing up. Keep looking the internet there are plenty of websites around, trust me I have had to learn 45 trees for college
  6. Ive done commando style after a rabbit and stuck my arm strait in a pile of wet cow shit

  11. A mate of mine has just got back from spain with a full 'geologic' suit for something like 15 euros! Hasnt had much time to test ti but it does look smart Not much help sorry lol, H&J
  12. On different note, it was beaters day today and I shot my first 2 Pheasants
  13. Well worth it to get at the finest chub fishing bait known to man though TBF!! OTC OTC, You beat me to it
  14. Yep sorted it mate! I needed to take the leather down a tad to get it through the slots of the locator but its through now although still fractionly tight! It'll be alot better when I take a tad more leather off. I had some small buckles here so I used some of the leather I use for the Hawks and made a couple spare's up the width of the collar slots! they've come out ok and thankfully the ferrets can't get them off like the webbing one's as mentioned in some other posts, I'm hopefully going to give them a work out sometime this week! its the moment of truth then mate .... dvice,

I spent £140 on a 'Laksen Yack' and I dont mind it, but it does absorb water if not regulaly sprayed with waterproofing stuff. The type of materials used are quite soft and catch on brambles easy too. .......and to be honest I much prefer my £40 waxed cotton jacket. 100% waterproof.... and Brambles and thorns just brush off it. H&J
  17. Anyon eever seen th epaul young programme when they are fishing for pike on some large loch, and they must have waited a good 5 mins before striking!
  18. Welcome back What kind of baits do you do? Boilies? Pm me if you like...
  19. im giving them beans NOT orange sweetcorn? Ohh well, thats alright then What ever works for you I suppose..
  20. Boiled bones will do no harm as they retain the moisture....but there is still no real point in doing it.
  21. Raw meat, mainly rabbit and pheasant. Feed them a natural diet, cant see the point in feeding what looks like sweetcorn (which is very undigestable)
  22. Thanks alot, sorted now
