  1. i cant help you reach a deeper understanding mate but ill give you my 2 pence worth.. Dawkins publicly fights the corner of evolution and i take my hat off to him being a well researched and educated guy, but his failure to consider questions such as 'first cause' and lets say, purpose, point or meaning to life. to me these are more important thaan specically how we are today the way we are. Droid; Dawkins claims our descandance from apes based on similarities in our DNA. Regardless of the fact the there is no proof or even conclusive factual suggestion that we have evolved from them. th
  2. i love to learn mate, ive checked out some of dawkins stuff and seen him interviewed and from as unbiased a perspective as possible i find him arrogant to the extreme and his THEORIES dissapointing holed and incomplete. i think i would enjoy talking with him if he wasnt so far up his own chuffer, pretending BIG questions arent worth answering. or at least trying. there are to me
  3. It's called Evolution matey. One day, many years ago, our ancestors were swimming in the sea. At first our physical adaptability propelled us forward to crawling on land, then living on land, then developing warm blood and hair. Finally when it was time for us to come out of the trees our mental adaptability took over and our brains grew to the task. In the grand scheme of things, in evolutionary terms, only a blink of an eye ago we were little furry rat-like critters. SOME of the feckers on this site still are j.d its amazes me that people belive, but thats there choise. when y
  4. I'll amen that Brudda (except the bit about being english ) 1.Whatever begins to exist has a cause. 2.The Universe began to exist. 3.Therefore, the Universe had a cause For those going on about how there cannot be a god "because of all the suffering" and "because my life's so hard" take a long hard think. seriously. im not going to try to bash you with a bible or anything here, but what obligation is your MAKER (lets imagine we all belive in one) under to come and help you or anyone else out? especially considering we kick him out of our schools, homes, families and so on and O

  6. teach how how to retrieve and a command for it, get her solidly bringing back balls etc, take her out, shoot a rabbit and giver her the command.. they soon learn the commands they like usually there are many more steps to this process but i havent yet met a staff who wont grab a bunny at first opportunity. Atb with her, looks a good type
  7. It's hard to generalise but the (real working) Weimeraner is the more likely to tackle foxes etc. My latest vizsla bitch is gentle and softly retrieves dead game but if anything has a go at her then it's look out; the last Saturday of the season last year a fox was shot on a pheasant drive and she was sent to retrieve it but unbeknown to me it hadn't been shot cleanly and it went to bite her - next thing one snapped fox where she'd shaken it so hard it's spine had broken - brought it back looking like a bag of rags. Talking to the Danes recently and they're reporting more and more weimeraner
