    Hopefully get a few foxes this week. We have a litter to sort out hopefully tomorrow night then an invite on Friday night from a guy who apparently has a few to sort

    Fantastic long range calibre , my mate had one and shot a red hind with it at 1020 yards

    Finally stopped raining so had a look on some barley stubble. Pretty quiet and the woodies wouldn't decoy so had to shoot them passing by ,dropped a cracker at 62 paces stone dead The carrion crows called in great using the Primos powercrow call. Ended on 54 birds so not too bad.

    Non stop rain up here ⛈⛈ 41 so far ? I will be lucky if I get that all year.

    I think so , Woodga was devastated having to buy the young lads chinkies ?

    The lad told me Storm hadn't ran rabbits before only deer as not many rabbits in Wiltshire. Anyway it put on a great performance that night to beat Woodgas dog , which was top class on rabbits.

    Should be a thread on here somewhere. Woodga organised it on ground round Haltwhistle. Longdogrunner won it . 2 dogs running against each other , the one that caught the most rabbits went through to next round. I Judged the heat when Woodgas dog was beaten by a dog called Storm I think which had never run rabbits before , I was gobsmacked. Storm was very fast and took to it like a duck to water.

    Simple food is often the best and tastiest, I had 2 dippy eggs and soldiers ?

    The thing is when you are having a good day shooting you dont notice it as much , my legs and shoulders hurt more ? It's when you have to lift something it's at its worst , trying to skin that roe the other day was a nightmare.
