  1. Cheers mate I would also like to point out that the squirrel in question was dispatched near Keilder Forest , which to those who dont know is one of the last strongholds in the North of England for red squirrels. In my opinion and the Foresty Commissions these vermin need to be stopped before thay pass on the pox to our reds and wipe them out for good, so actually killing this squirrel wasnt just bloodthirsty but vitally important in terms of red squirrel conservation. It is of no importance how it was shot just that it was humanely dealt with

  12. Me and my mate decided to have a look out with the lamp at 6am this morning , change of tactics to see what foxes would be lurking about early in the morning. Anyway there was a real freezing wind blowing but I lamped another vixen in a grass field which was dispatched without haste Then we waited for dawn to break , spotting 2 roe which casually just walked out of sight Then we spotted a rather large fox crossing another grass field but this one never stopped still long enough for a shot and made it to safety. 18. I arrived at my ground at 7.30 this morning just as dawn was breaking. I decided to have a look at a piece of clearfell where I knew a few fallow congregate. Immediately on arrival I spotted a young fallow calf without its mother ambling across the brash , so it needed to be culled. I dropped to the floor and took the shot at approx 120yds with a heart shot , the calf stumbled forward and collpased dead Then I continued to another spot where I knew some roe frequented , but not this morning but I did manage to spy a beatiful fox lying in some rushes sunning itself in t
