Pcp vs good springer
andyfr1968 replied to boerboel_1984's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Yup, it's a fair cop, guv!! It's a very long time ago when I first used a PCP and back then the shot counts really were low, the power varied a lot as the pressure changed and they were unreliable as hell. I've used springers for over thirty years and loved (still do....) their reliable, self contained nature. However..... At Davy's do, I had the chance to try a few modern PCPs. F**k me, times have changed!!!! I'll never get rid of my spring guns but I really can see why so many folks have changed over. All being well (Harvey ), I should be collecting an AA410 next week. -
I'll throw my 90 on. Should make a right old bang when the ram blows up!! Cheers.

andyfr1968 replied to coursing mad's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
A truly first class and honest advert/recomendation......... 'I've got one, it's for sale and shagged. They're crap anyway. But at least it's cheap (ish)'. Good luck! Cheers. -
F**k it!! I'll start a poll!!!!! Kidding (just) the AA410 in either caliber will do me just fine. Well impressed!

What gun to buy the nephew
andyfr1968 replied to ziggy1's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hi, mate. If you can find one, the HW50's a top little rifle for a youngster. Light and handles and points as a gun should. The 97 and 95 could well be rather weighty for a ten year old unless he's built like a twenty year old........ Cheers. Edit to say..... If he learns to shoot with a spring gun first, it'll give him a better understanding of recoil and how to hold and shoot a gun. Pre-charged air guns tend to be a little 'dead' on discharge and don't give the novice shooter the feel of guns in general, especialy if they want to move on to other forms of shooting. -
Split up with my ex wife just over 7 years ago, the mother of my two boys...... Met Eve shortly after, just split, another 7 years. My Ex moved a little bit away and now I'm with my eldest's best mate from his new schools mum! Funny old world, innit..... Cheers.

So long as you keep to good quality guns, it really just boils down to what you prefer. A quality break barrel IS as accurate as a fixed barrel. Modern manufactureing and good materials remove the old problems of alignment issues. Cheers.

A goose? Hmmmm... Rather like swans. No wonder they all belong to the royal family. I did wonder why.. Makes perfect sence now! Cheers!! Ps.... Back on topic..... Well done Aaaaaron! You won't have to hawk your arse for too much longer! Unless it's just for fun.......

You're right, Michael, they are but it always makes me feel a bit guilty when they look round at me.... I normally put tape over their eyes first to avoid embaresment. Each to their own, I s'pose. Every hole's a goal and all that. Cheers.

I'm sorry but...umm...I think the main thing is that he has sexual intercourse with a not only another species but one so physically different to himself, and with that in mind I don't think the rape victim's gender is a big issue here.. Nahh its ok if you wrap them in gaffa tape first so they don't split. ATB Michael Gaffa tape's not the best as there's not enough give in it. The animal must be allowed to stretch a little so I'd go for cling-film. Works on most of the smaller shaggable animals. Cheers.

I used .177 mags for years and found them to be best pellet for killing little vermin things in a sub FAC airgun. They hold their enegy much better than most pellets down-range and if your gun shoots well with them you won't go far wrong. In .22 they do fly relatively very slowly, so if your range estimates only off by 3 or 5 ish yards past 25 or so, you'll be missing your aim point by a fair old margin. In .22 best keep to very close range, or upgrade to FAC. Cheers.

Nor me. The emotion in Trent comes over so strongly, it makes me cry. I can relate to what he's saying and it touch's me very deeply. But then I am an old softy and a little bit rubbish! Life moves on and all that........ Cheers. very emotional stuff , real men show there emotions I always wear my heart on my sleave and I admire other folks that do. There's far too much BS in this world and it makes a real change to avoid it. Be straight, say what you feel and just be honest. That's what I love about that song, the way it brings a third party in just to
