  1. I am also interested, but would need it posted. Also i dont suppose you know if it would work on a weihrauch hw100 non quick fill without any other purchases eg adaptors. Thanks.
  2. I owned an s410 a few years ago and it was very nice to shoulder and shoot and i held the r10 at the midland game fair last sunday. Its really nice looking and also feels very nice at the shoulder. I asked the guy about the problems it had and he listed them all and said they have been sorted now. I have been looking at guns in this range. I am pretty much set on the Weihrauch hw100 thumbhole carbine. I held bothe the standard length and carbine and the carbine seems far more balanced. I also fired the new (shrouded barrel) hw100 at the game fair on the 'spooky shoot'. I havent fired an air
  3. I like all the FX range, a quality Swedish built & well engineered rifle, check out Mark Camoccio's review in the August issue of Gun Mart, I have serviced a couple for a large Estate where both the Game Keepers use these around the buildings, they have proved very realiable & accurate, I am sure they will replace them when there time is up with further FX rifles, they had used AA's prior to FX & they are not looking back. foxon. Thanks for your input mate. Do you have a link to that review?
  4. Has anyone used one/owned one? What do you think? How do they compare to an AA s410? Thanks.
  5. As i have explained in another topic, im looking to buy an air rifle soon and have been considering different pcps such as the rapid mk1, s410 and hw100. Im probably still going to go down this route, however iv been considering a nice springer, probably a pro sport. I was just wondering your opinions. How does a good springer like the prosport compare to a good pcp like the s410? Is the accuracy very different or does it really only suffer beond 30 or 40 yards? Cheers.
  6. Nice bit of shooting mate! How do you rate the Falcon Prairie to the s410? Is one clearly nicer or better to shoot?
  7. Thanks for your opinions lads. I still seem to be leaning towards the s410, or the hw100 if i can get one, but part of me wants to go for something different. Does anyone have honest experience of guns such as the fx cyclone on daystate x2? I will try as many as i can at the game fair (which im really looking forward to going to) but its nice to have the opinion of others with more experience than me!
  8. Thanks very much for your opinion mate, much appreciated!
  9. As explained in a seperate post, im looking to buy an air rifle. I have just been reading about the rowan engineering multi shot conversion for the AA s400. What do people think about them? Are they easy to fit (bearing in mind i have no experience with taking apart rifles or fiddling with them at all). Do they work well, or have people had problems with them. Is the money i would save by buying an s400 and multishot conversion worth doing instead of just buying an s410 (assuming this is the rifle i decide to get)? Cheers.
  10. Hi guys. Im looking to buy a multi shot pcp for around £500 but stretching to £550 or £600 for something really special. This would include the scope and mounts, but not the charging gear as my gf will probably buy me that for my birthday! Im thinking of secondhand to get more for my money. I will be using it for hunting mainly rabbits and woodies. Not really sure about caliber as there are so many conflicting views. I am in Sheffield. So far the AA s410 seems to be the most likely option, however any other suggestions are welcome. The Weirauch hw100 sounds good if i could get a good seco
  11. Hi, im new to the forum. Im a 24 year old student at Sheffield university. I also work as a doorman. Im interested in all aspects of hunting, however its money (student) and places to go that limit me. I have owned an air arms s410 air rifle a few years ago but sold it as i had no where to use it. One of my friends lives on a farm so i now have access to land to hunt. He uses shotguns, rimfire and air rifles so i am going to buy an air rifle in a bout a month or so to get into it. Probably going to go for an s410 again as it seems to be the best rifle available for around £500. Glad to be a
