    let her grow up and enjoy working her, theres along way to go before you even start thinking about studs. i've stated in the past that while alot of these type of dogs start off very keen, as they get older, and the work gets harder alot of them realise there just not cut out for the game. you have a PUP that your happy with, nurture it, bring it on SLOW AND STEADY, and if your still happy with it in a few seasons time, then think about looking for a good stud...A.T.B.     what is the purpose for breeding? at 1yr most dogs are'nt fully formed mentally or physically, so it would be impossible at that age to know whether it is worth breeding from or not. i'm assuming as this is posted in the "working" terrier section this bitch is being used for graft, and as such you would be hoping for workers from her, if this is correct (and i hope so) then even at 2yrs she would not of seen enough to make her 100% proven. and at the end of the day, thats the only time you should consider breeding from either dog or bitch. j.m.o...     was planning a longer night out last night but the mist came down around 9.45 and that was the end of that, any way, still managed to find 3 bunnys and a partridge, stretched the dogs legs if nothing else. Yokel.

    phil's started his old type bull terriers by mating billy(milo x lucy) to daisy (tinder x bunty) 6 pups were born of which 4 died after daisy fell asleep on them. a dog and a bitch survived, chalky who phil kept and belcher who i owned. belcher was p.t.s. before he reached his 2nd year as he was as manny as feck. phil brought in another staff/ebt x called floyd bred down from flynn staffs but could never breed from chalky as she was an absolute nut case and wouldn't let a dog near her, so i'd say that was the end of that. last spoke to the man around 97/98. he was a nice enough fella,but as fo
