Yes! My old lurcher was bombproof but would set off in a millisecond if something broke cover. Years ago a sheep came belting out of the thicket and before I could say no, he was up and after it. 1 second later he’d stopped and came trotting back showing his teeth in a submission smile. I never needed to reprimand him. He knew NOPE. 1 min later he was behind bugs bunny fully engaged.

Cabron will walk through a field of goats or sheep off lead without batting an eyelid. Bambi gets up or he whiffs one and he’s off. Strange funny fuuckers dogs.

I’ve said yes mate. I’ll be looking for another runner soon (if I can, I’d like a pup out of Cabron) and I’m also thinking of getting a Teckel for bushing about. I’ve access to open land now and people are more runner friendly over Zaragoza and down to Madrid way. Catalans are funny fuuckers. Appreciate that mate I’ve given him range freedom, good grub (mainly BARF) and plenty of nights outdoors (mountains/beach etc). There’s a place we go in Autumn, a refuge in the mountains (Google refugi rebost) I sleep inside, he sleeps outside and does what he wants all night. Always there in the morning for his brekkie mind

He’s a big lad, broad chest and shoulders. Massive engine at the back. Barely any fat even in summer when he’s on downtime (as in not much in the mountains or running about in 30C heat) Not the best pic but you can see his height and muscle tone

Aye near abouts mate, stripped out around 36-37kg. Still runs like the wind and never tires even at nearly 11years old. Would love to line him on a good bitch and get a pup…. And hunt the f**k out of it, now I have the time and means to get around Spain

It was more the Balkans and south east Europe that had poor vaccination programs but it was here well before they arrived… especially amongst the traveller communities and those that refused vaccination (religious reasons etc). Both my Auntie and grandad were in the sanatorium with it years ago, way before vaccination programs existed. Roast the bones in the oven, then high simmer/boil for about 4-5 hours. Give the cooled bones to the dog and you’ve got the best beef broth ever. Portion it into jars or freeze in ziplocks

They defo used to because my Polish mate and ex both had the vac scar Side point. Whether intentional or not, I’ve noticed that the scars are all in different locations depending on the country you come from
