  1. What 60 to 85 foot? If it was you pair it was probably inches though :-) Good to see you back on here my old mate. Glad your well. When you popping down for the weekend? Si.
  2. This is why I've booked him to take my wedding photos . Quality bloke with a quality camera doing a professional job . What more could you ask for? Si.
  3. Really nice work Darryl. Your photography makes the photos mystical. Raining heavy here today too. Si.
  4. Hi Club Shot, Unless im reading your post incorrectly buddy, your telling people that a .22 will not reset a target past 40 metres. Now im a big .22 caliber fan and I have to disagree with that statement after resetting many targets past 50 metres in fact while practicing with my springer mate. I did meet you down at the UK Springer championships and do respect you buddy but just dont agree with your post. What I will do is video a bit of proof footage showing this being done on a episode of VerminHuntersTV for you mate. Si.
  5. Your footage will be better than mine buddy.
  6. Its a Hawke Sidewinder 30 3-12x50 SF mate
  7. Working off a better kill zone size of 20 mm instead of 25 mm and high mounts (as you have with that scope) your best zero range is 34 yards. This gives you a PBR of between 10.2 and 38.5 yards. What this means is between these ranges you can only be 10 mm max out from the pellet hitting the target (pellet on pellet). Si.
  8. No your not pal, your spot on . Its also my favorite calibre too . Nothing wrong with a .22, your results prove that mate . Si.
  9. That's a lovely rifle pal. The grain seems lovely. My favorite sort of HW pcp is the KT. What calibre is it pal? Nice shooting on the quarry too. I went out today for a couple of hours and had a total blank. I didn't even get a shot off at any quarry. Si.
  10. Hi VM, You are correct buddy, well spotted mate. I've just seen my mistake and edited it to the correct figures. As Pianoman says though Disschord, I would always advise on keeping the scope centre as close to the barrel centre as possible. This gives you a better chance of hitting targets from the rifle muzzle to your zero range without worrying too much about mildots. This really depends on your scopes objective lens size though mate. To keep within an inch kill zone but extend your point blank range past 30 yards you really need to use a lighter pellet Disschord or learn to
  11. Edited Your optimum, zero range is 26 yards if you are using medium mounts. 28 yards if your using high mounts.
  12. Sounds a perfect power rating to me buddy . You will not see any difference in regards to quarry being killed differently or targets being knocked over between 10.6 and 11.6 foot pounds. Needing 11.5 foot pounds is a big myth mate. Do you know what the difference is in regards of feet per second from 10.6 to 11.6? Its just 34 feet per second mate which with a pellet travelling at 10.6 foot pounds or around 752 feet per second equates to nothing and even at 70 yards you 10.6 foot pound shot will still holds 4.6 foot pounds of energy, so enough to kill a rabbit easily. I would b
  13. Thats a awesome gift from your good lady there Aaron. Whats a beautiful rifle. Congratulations pal. Im sure you will spend many happy hours shooting it. Si.
  14. To be honest I think we have forgotten about doing one buddy. Maybe Davy will have a idea later next year

  16. Milo your constant crap in regards to me and Davy is starting to get on my tits. I dont find you funny mate and im starting to dislike you. Just leave it out will you?
  17. Brilliant Gary . That DVD and the shooting meets were worth every bit of time and effort everyone put in to them if this is the great results we are getting back in return. God bless our service men and women . Si.
  18. Well in Skot. I see your getting on well with the German
  19. I really like the look of than pal. What IR is it you are using? Si.
  20. Hi lads, Well with LJ being at work today I was a little bored so thought that i would have a go at making my own catapult to use for hunting. Now the design i have used is a tried and tested design shown to me many years ago by my uncle Brian who is a game keeper in the Notts area and as used this design to kil many a quarry over the years. In the photo you will see the beautiful custom made VHTV knife and catapult that Rob from RK Knives and Catapults has made for me. That catapult is made from using a pressed wood and double Thera Band Gold elastics which produces 21 foot pounds
