  1. Thanks Phil buddy, I think I was lucky with the 3 shots hitting straight after each other today. I haven't really practiced since Bosnia with it, but I used to be very handy with it. I've taken many a feral and magpie with it at 10 to 15 metres with my better shots being at 20 to 25 metres. I'm going to practice with it more over the Winter ready for the Hunting Life Meet in June where we will be having a catapult shooting comp. Si.
  2. I agree with you there 100% mate . Don't forget its the man behind the trigger as well buddy, and if you group and shoot like that with your guns al the time you will always do well . Well in. Si.
  3. Hi there lads, In this episode of VerminHuntersTV I take my Weihrauch HW97KT out for a morning of proof shooting and testing my new calibration data on my scope caps after weighing, washing and lubing a tin of 15.4 grain H & N FTT pellets, followed by some pigeon shooting on one of my permissions for the land owner. Then in the afternoon I decide to film something new for the channel and go with my fiancee and our dogs to another location to practice with my old Barnett Diablo catapult, shooting a few targets with .38 steel balls. Enjoy Si.
  4. Well in lads, It will be your turn next time Mac . Good shooting Vislauk . Si.
  5. Very nice results there Skott, and some fine shooting too . You just cant beat a Weihrauch springer. Well done mate. Si.
  6. Great idea partner . All you need then is it stage 2 tuning and you will have a dream rifle and setup. Are we still taking it to Tony in Feb to get it stage 2 tuned? You know it makes sense . Si.
  7. Hi lads, This is a great little clip that Davy filmed today of how he fitted a adjustable butt pad to his HW97KT. I think that you will agree that his rifle looks much better, and i believe he will shoot it better now it is more customized to his body. 10 out of 10 for this Davy and I'm sure more will want to try this after watching this episode of VerminHuntersTV. Si.
  8. Yes each rifle / barrel will be different buddy. 1 inch groups at 30 yards isn't very good as you say mate. I would try some other quality pellet brands like RWS Super Field Air Arms Field Daystate Li's Webley Accupells With a correct matching pellet your Huntsman will 1 hole at 30 yards easily unless its broken and as a internal problem. Si.
  9. Welcome to the section Rav, I am a bit lost with you post though . Your saying that you want a .177 for longer distances and better accuracy and are not happy with the Huntsman in .22. I'm sorry but I'm yet to find a .177 rifle that is more accurate than a .22 rifle. They will match each other especially if the range is known. Yes you need to do more work with a .22 and have a better understanding of different aim points but no way is a .177 more accurate than a .22 . If you can put a .22 pellet through the same hole as the previous one without making the hole any bigger t
  10. The Night Master 800 IR is probably the best there is at the mo.
  11. I filmed this episode on our channel with the Angel Eye. Si.
  12. Been reading this but didn't know what to really say. All this and around Christmas too. I hope it sorts it self out for you and your family Mike. God bless you all. Si.
  13. Good to see that we are on the same wave length here Adam .
  14. Typical fecking politicians who want their MBE and big expense fund to fund their love flats in upper class cites . A fecking scum bag drug addict goes out and kills a toddler with a air weapon (God bless the little toddler. The addict should be left to the toddlers family IMO) and then a law is brought in to make air weapons need to be on licence. Did the idiot that bought the law in think that a drug addict will get hold of a air weapon with or without a licence. There will always be people that will not give up their weapons with or without this new BS law. Its the good people t
  15. Nice write up mate and a lovely looking rifle. Si.
  16. I do try partner . I'm just pretty crap at grouping more than 4 shots . More shooting practice will help sort that problem. Si.
  17. Thanks for your input lads. Its strange how little things can go along way to improving your results. I agree John washing and lubing is boring but weighing is super dull and im no fan myself. I just do it to get better results. I need to train LJ up lol. Hi Phil, im using Napier Power Lube ATM but I find photo copier spray oil is just as good. You only need a little bit of lube and little is a lot better. Too many drops will cause your rifle to diesel. Si.
  18. Hi there lads, In this episode of VerminHuntersTV I decide to do my own experiment to confirm what I thought that I already knew. After reading various posts in regards to pellets, their weight and head size I decide to do my own investigation. The experiment is to see the effects of weighing and sorting your pellets prior to shooting groups and targets. I wanted to see if pellets of different weights but the same brand fired through a rifle would impact in a north to south POI making a bigger group. If the impact is north to south at 27.3 yards and larger than a weighed b
  19. Let us know how you get on with it Rob. I pick my mrs up in Feb too, which is a beech Ultra SE in .177 for her to use at HFT. Try JSB Exacts in 4.53 mm as a first pellet buddy. Her old Ultra 1 holed the size of a .177 pellet with them mate (witnessed). Si.
  20. Very nice results there with the 4.50 heads Adam and excellent shooting with the 97. Who says springers are not accurate hey? Well in mate. Si.
  21. I would be happy with that size group in .22 at 25 meters buddy. Well done
  22. This guy is no relation to me before someone asks. Si.
