  1. We are organizing a catapult / sling shot comp at the June meet Skot . Have you got one yet? Watch Bill Hays shoot his catapult here.
  2. Maybe you should read the initial post SLOWLY again pal then you will see that i said you can use a pcp but you will not score in the competition . The comp is for springers hence the title buddy. You can use the catapult if you wish .
  3. Your point is taken Darren and I did expect something coming back from someone, that's why i did explain in the clip that it was a Sunday and that i had already seen everywhere was locked up properly and no one was about on my first walk around. (Maybe i should of explained this better and expanded on it more in the clip). Me and Davy hold a spare key that gets us onto the nursery, without it you cant get into the nursery buddy. I did know what i was doing and the 4 shots were completely safe or I would not of taken them mate, but like i say your point is taken . Regarding my shoo
  4. Probably one of the best pcps on the market for its price IMO. The .177 versions I've owned love JSB Exacts at 4.53 mm, the .22 have loved RWS Super Field pellets. Both calibres have been pellet on pellet out to 35 meters and under 3/4 of an inch out to 50 meters, sometimes much better. Some don't like the old cocking system (I actually don't mind it one bit) but if you look past that you have one hell of a shooting system. 30 to 35 shots in .177 and 40 to 45 in .22 is enough unless you have the best permission in the world or your plinking. If so then take your pump which takes 2
  5. Agreed Tron, But I would like to add that the Ultra and especially with a Tench reg fitted like that one, matched with the right pellet will keep up with any rifle currently on the market used for hunting, be in HW100, Theoben, r10, Air Arms or a Daystate in regards to accuracy. It would be a very unwise person to wish to challenge that fact in front of a live audience. Ive witnessed what these rifles are capable of and quite honestly they are staggeringly accurate.
  6. Film at either 220 frames per second or film in full HD and then slow it down using a good editing software.

  9. Hi lads and lasses, I've been thinking over the past week or so and would be interested to see who would be interested in a Hunting Life Forum Air Gun Section springer championships in March down at Old Down Pursuits? I'm happy to sort this out hopefully with the help of Davy and Chaz. Any member in the section can enter with their (sub 12 ft / lb only) springer to count in the comp or pcp for fun but not to count in the competition. It will be held on a Sunday morning sometime in March 2013 (date to be posted when i get a feel of who would be interested). The competition w
