Very nicely done mate.
-
No problems 1 up 1 down. Let me know how you get on with the Viper. Si.

The best scopes to use with it are the MTC range. The MTC Viper works brilliantly and the MTC Mamba is also very good. The Hawke Sidewinder is good and so is the Panarama but not as good as the Mamba or Viper. We are hoping to do a NS200 demo this weekend using a Viper if the weather is good and there is no mist etc which playes havoc with NV kit. We will film the demo and place it on Youtube. Si.

Bsa Superstar Mk2 Carbine Vs Airarms Tx200
zini replied to Hudson's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I think you have answered your own question mate. The BSA would be the rifle to be different with. I cant comment on accuracy of the BSA as ive not used one as far as I can remember but can say the HW and AA models are very accurate. For general plinking though the BSA should be perfect and far better than a SMK, Hatsan, Stoger and probably most of the newer BSA springers. Si. -
Congrats on a great shot Daz. Nice bit of duck there mate. When you inviting me round? . I like roasties and mash wit it .

Your a good man Andy . I'm sure that if Simon's "Andy tuned" HW97KT shoots anywhere near as nice as Johns HW80 and Simon's other HW77 that you also tuned, it will also be one amazing springer. I was only talking yesterday to John on the phone and he was seriously praising your skills with the work you have done on his HW80. He says its better than his Pro Sport which is a serious compliment. Keep up the great work mate. Si.

first pcp, what should i go for?
zini replied to Jungle Zilla's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Got to agree with you here Winchester . The HW100 as got to be one of the best all round pcps on the market with accuracy to match the supposedly best hunting air guns on the market. The rifle defo takes some beating as a pcp. Si. -
The way most seem to like to do it mate: This way takes into consideration pellet BC, pellet weight, rifle power and scope height without having to worry about pc software. Si.

Great rifles mate. Bargain price if in great condition with a scope. No issues, one of the top 5 springers currently on the market IMO. Si. -

Hi mate, Going off your description and what you say about the rifle and scope I think that your friend is spinning you a yarn. If your talking about a OX spring then your lovely HW95 is going to be illegal and shooting very inaccurately to what it would at 11.5 FPE with its original HW spring. Dont be fooled to think mate that a bigger spring = better accuracy with the higher power mate. More than 90% I would say your rifle will be worse. Its no good having a rifle that shoots 18 FPE but cant group better than 1 inch at 25 yards. Second hand, played with and sounds illegal

I use 25 meters, 27.3 yards imperial for my .22 sub 12 and just a little further for my .177. I do this as I work off a 20 mm kill zone instead of a 25 mm one. To get my nominated zero range I now enter all my combo data into chairgun and let it tell me what to zero at to go 10 mm above the scopes line of sight and 10 mm below it. This mean that from around 10 meters to 28 meters you can only be up to 10 mm off a perfect shot. Si.

Hints And Tips On A Airgun To Buy
zini replied to Dozza#lurcherterrier's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
For a low price but pure accuracy and quality you wont go wrong with either a single shot or multishot BSA Ultra mate. As your also targeting rats though in the dark I would think about going down the multishot route as reloading in the dark for a quick second or third rat can be frustrating in single shot. Another rifle thats gaining some good reviews is the Brocock Super 6 XL. Si. -
I also use the Hawke Panarama EV AO IR models and have both the 4-12 x 40 mm and 50 mm versions. For general hunting, plinking and HFT I think the 40 mm version is my favourite. It comes with a half mildot reticule which is very clear from 4 to 12 mag. You have a blue and red ir if needed for shooting in low light situations. If you had a .22 and wanted to spend a little more money then I would go the new Hawke SR Pro route mate. Like the SR12 ret but a lot better and instead of using between 12 and 14 mag to gain 5 m interval spacing on your ret, this one works from 8 to 10

Best of luck with it Mrs Arris . The rifle looks pretty nice. Si.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. We did have a good day today in the wind. Footage will be up in 10 minutes. Si.
-
Your welcome Phil ill see you at mine in 10 minutes for round 2. Si
-
Yes it should be a good episode Phil . It defo pays though to use a quality multi shot PCP when static hunting woodies mate Being already loaded and made ready is a lot easier than seeing the birds land, trying to cock the rifle quietly, aiming the camera and then taking the shot without being seen . I must have lost 5 or 6 chances myself just by being seen doing the above . Flipping good eye sight have them woodies. Hopefully being in the other hide will be a bit better as Ill only have to cock and shoot while Phil records. Si.

I will keep the footage that i shot until we have been again together and got enough for a episode of VHTV. Si.

Thanks Davy and Mike .

Yes Danny he can defo shoot that HW100T well . Si.
