  1. These meets are incredible fun Steve. Ive been to about 4 now and they have become the highlights of mine and Laura's calender, less our wedding of course. Ive met some of the best mates there you could ever imagine. Long may they still go ahead. Si.
  2. Well in all. The lad looks like he's in his element.
  3. I think if you already have a HW100 you will miss it somewhere down the road mate. It defo as a purpose. I too would normally choose a springer over a pcp if the situation led but for fast fire precision you cant beat them.
  4. Nice one Steve. Im sure it will be even better after a strip down and polish. Si.
  5. No you cant porky but soon you will be able to fit a SFS Damper System.
  6. Hi Porky, The SFS 95s are great as you say if you hold them correctly. Due to them being light they require more concentration than a stage 2 tuned heavier 97. When we release the Spectre review you will see the first 2 shots of a 55 yard .22 test group going exactly through the same hole followed by another 2 going under with the first 2 shots a 5p. A 5th shot was fired that was within less than a .22 pellets diameter from also going under the 5p with the other 4.
  7. Another believer and convert. Love it. Enjoy it mate. You have one of the nicest springers out there. Si.
  8. Thanks Simon. You will be missed buddy.
  9. Thats lovely grain on your HW100 Steve.
  10. Yeah mate as I said the more the merrier. It will nice to meet you buddy. Si.
  11. I just wondered if any of the regulars fancied a shoot tomorrow morning down at ODP HFT course? I think Davy and Charlie are going too so the more the merrier for a even better crack. I will be there for when it opens for a brew before the shoot. It would be really great to see some old friends and new faces there. Si.
  12. Anyway Steve when are you donating me your Contour as a late Chrimbo pressy? You know you wont shoot it now you have the TX and 100 lol. Si.
  13. Hi there, In this episode of VHTV you will hear how the VHTV team was formed and see again how we go about the business of culling some hungry rats. Enjoy and please give us a thumbs up if you like the episode. Si, Davy and Charlie. Insured
  14. In this episode of VHTV you will watch as Si and Davy go rat shooting again to try and rid the farm of some big hungry rats. Please enjoy and don't forget to give us a thumbs up if you like the show. Si and Davy

  19. No I think your 77 as had some amazing work put into it mate and you shoot it brilliantly, you're a pleasure to watch on YT. I think the softer shot is down to Tony fixing something to back of the action which drops recoil dramatically once bedded in mate. There is nothing short or snappy about the shot like you say there is with a V Mac system, its just a slight nudge at the shoulder making accuracy pretty much not far off pure ease mate. There is a definate difference from a S1 and S2 tune though. The S1 in my Spectre is smooth and lighter to cock than the S2 but the recoil
  20. Hi there, Im not sure what a TX 200 with V Mac system shoots like mate. Ive shot a 35 with V Mac that I gave my Russian friend Sergej a few years ago and it was sweet. When I say sweet I mean better than a OTB 35 would but on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the best the 35 was a 7 and my S2 97 is an 11. At the end of the day mate you can praise a S2 tuned 97 till the cows come home for some people (not aimed at you buddy), but if their heart isn't taken by it they will not believe you and will do what their heart feels best. My opinion is just my opinion so if someone is happy wi
  21. Nice one Phil and well done buddy. I look forward to watching it mate. Si.
  22. Good to see a man that knows what hes talking about with true life experience. Nice post GM buddy. I think the same mate. I have a PS in .177 but as good as it is and it is brilliant the 97 would beat it for smoothness, consistency and ease of accuracy all day long. Ask Mawders how smooth it is.
  23. Joel why buy a HW100 and then sell it a week later because another rifle shoots as accurate? I bet my Ultra would match your AA over any distance you shoot mate. If your way of thinking is correct why dont we all shoot Ultra's as they are cheap? Also a properly S2 tuned HW97 would shoot smoother with less recoil than a OTB TX200 any day of the week if properly bedded in mate. So thats why people do it. To think other wise is a mistake.
  24. Thats what i usually zero mine at too Aaron. It removed hold under brilliantly and as long as you know your aim points at your set mag its deadly out to 55 / 60 yards rifle, scope and scope depending.
