  1. Very nice shooting there Skot with a OTB HW . I'm just uploading 2 parts of my day yesterday at SFS on VHTV. Will be a while though, probably ready for viewing tomorrow now . I think a lot of people will find the 2 episodes interesting as I have actually got Tony Wall's own and real opinions of different things air gun related, and not what people seem to post as his views and opinions .
  2. For what you have described as your needs mate I would defo go for the TX200 over the Ultra. If you do your bit and gain plenty of practice with it you will be able to match the Ultra after time and practice as Pianoman can with his springers. Look at this group that i shot today witnessed by at least 5 shooters from Glevum airgun club with my new springer. Granted not a TX200 but the Tx will do the same thing if you practice hard enough and use the marksmanship principles. This was shot with my new .177 Sandwell Field Sports tuned HW98 at 27 yards with AA Field pellets. Be
  3. Nice one Nigel. When do we get a go? Si.
  4. Thanks Elliott pal. Real nice chewing the fat with you on the phone. Real hunters come from the south. Lol.
  5. Someone as been reading the airgun magazines and not getting out and actually seeing whats achievable with real practice, bless them. Mind ya I have to say I don't like to ever shoot past 35 yards with my springer. I wouldn't even attempt 50 yards ever
  6. The Chinese rifles SFS sell are mostly tuned CO2 models. Tuned by Tony himself with many tweaks the rifle is called the SFS Hobby. These will shoot at 11.5 FPE and group very very well in normal weather so im informed. As soon as he does one it is sold. Me and Davy have been trying to get one for months to review but they sell faster than you would imagine. We held one about 6 weeks ago though that was going that day. Game keepers love them as they are accurate, cheap and very carbine. Tony does also sell SOME of the (better) model springers but they are no HW and he w
  7. Hi Nigel, Nice to see you on here mate. Glad you enjoyed the bit of fun we had this afternoon with the .177 TX200HC and the 2 x S2 tuned .22 HW97KTs. You did really well mate with your TX after getting it zeroed, and all your shots including any misses would of humanely killed any of the UK legal vermin species. Hitting a 8mm bell target at that range isnt a easy task as many pcp shooters that have tried at the various meets and at Davy's will tell you so fair play to you pal. Si.
  8. A good thing to do is ask Tony to tune it to 9.5 FPE for you like I did with my new springer and Davy had done so they bed in to around 10.5 to 10.9 FPE which is perfect. Si.
  9. The difference between a S1 and S2 is very much different in terms of reduced recoil Ben. The spring guide is built from metal on a metal laiv and screw cut into the back of the action so it cant move. Other bits and bobs are also done to improve the rifles harmonics. Si.
  10. When VHTV release the VHTV Spectre review you will see a 55 yard 5 shot group that is pretty handy being shot. We also pick up a new tuned SFS springer at the weekend that my Laura bought for me that we will be reviewing so ill try some groups with that too. Si.

  12. Nice read Skot and good choice with the .22 I feel.
  13. If you only intend using it from a static position and not carrying around then they shoot very accurately with the right pellet. I wouldnt get one if you intend in mooching as they are heavy and soon give you back pain.
  14. The lady will be a very sexy freuline when she returns.
  15. Hi Barry the HW97KT can be decocked if the bear trap plate is removed which takes 5 minutes to do. Tony Wall as done mine and Davys new tuned Hw97kt. Makes life easier for the shooter.
  16. Mike have you tried researching the prices before posting this buddy? If you did you will find that in Blackpool Air Rifles the AA TX200 rifles and Pro Sports beech and walnut are more expensive than a HW97KT. I'm not sure why you think that they are over priced. If you look at 90% the winners of spring rifle HFT this year they either use TUNED AA TX's or HW97K's so either way they are tuned mate, and from my personal opinion the HW97s seem to be alot more popular.
  17. As I said Scramble. When my integrity is questioned, not the kit its self I will have a say just as you do on alot if NV topics mate.
  18. Yeah got my pay cheque from NS this morning come through. Are you my postman Scramble? How did you know I get paid £400 a month to mislead not so wise people as you?
  19. Not on a high horse Pink. Its called having my say when someone is questioning my integrity. If you weren't unintentionally the way your comment reads it does seem you are im afraid. Many people have asked ref the raising of the NS units both in person and via pm. Some even wanting a how to put together video of it and ive mentioned all the pros and cons to them. Nite Site themselves even were telling customers at the BSS the pros and cons. Nothing to hide. Enough said.
  20. Pink, Dont jump to negative conclusions so quick. As I said getting the screen higher up and more forward helps me shoot the rifle better from the sitting position off my bipod while reducing any ir flare if your silencer and barrel is really long. I have stated that many many times. If you are getting ir flare try using a sun shade. Team wild dont raise their NS unit up as many many other users dont either. Si.
  21. I use a FX pump to fill my mrs Ultra SE. From 90 bar to the sweet spot takes about 2 to 3 minutes max mate. Its easy work too. Its s total myth that its hard work. Maybe for a poorly person or someone really out of shape but for a fit or averagely fit person its a piece of cake mate.
  22. Well done to all involved. Nice amount of money there and for a great cause too. Congrats to everyone for making the effort in the snow and shooting well in the wind. Thanks for the update GM, nice shooting buddy. Si.
  23. Thats no problem and well known by most .22 shooters. Just means know your kit.
