Yes mate the AA comp. Me and Davy are both now booked and paid. Cool this year any rifle make counts in the AA comp so the wolf and HW100KT will be good calls. Steve as informed me that the hamster he as made for me is better than his one and that he is making another one like mine for himself. Top man he is. Sunday sounds great mate. It will be a good tester for my range estimation if im shooting against your .177 wolf and Garys 177 HW100KT with the .22 HW100KT. Hopefully I will be able to stay within 4 or 5 points of you both fingers crossed. Im going to do a

Cheers Aaron, We intend to do that episode in 3 weeks time. Si.

Hi lads, After testing 5 quality brands of pellet today in my .22 HW100KT (AA Fields, H & N FTT, Webley Accupels, RWS Super Field and Falcon Accuracy Plus) and carrying out the near and far calibration method on it with the best brand, here is a group shot at 25 meters in doors at Glevum range today. The winners were the Air Arms Fields followed by H and N then followed by Falcon AP. All brands could easily 1 hole at 25 meters but non as tight as AA Fields. Chrono data from my Alpha chroni over 10 shots = Average velocity = 566 fps = 11.31 FPE with a very low shot consi

I look forward to that one Brendan. Are you getting the Matt Winser silencer too? Hes also just designed a better Rekord trigger adjuster screw. Ill show it on VHTV soon along with another new item a good friend of mine as made for me. Si. -
Well in VM. Great guns the HWs. Glad your doing well with it.

Everyone as their own method of doing things. None ive read are wrong. One thing I will say is from the age of 13 unitill 36 I didnt use a laser range finder and I shot my fair share of quarry just with my eyes and mind guessing the range to the target in .22. Once I purchased a LRF my shot to kill ratio almost doubled and my range to target also stretched over time. For almost 5 years now ive hunted with a LRF in .177, .22 and when filming for the charity dvd we did in .25 caliber too and I have to say its a tool I really like to use. I dont agree with people saying you dont ge

Hawke Varmint Or Panorama
zini replied to hftjoe97's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I've had them both and they both work well, but the Panorama beats the Varmint hands down in regards to glass and clarity. So much so that i have 3 Panorama EVs now and 3 Sidewinders. -
Fight, fight, fight . Both calm down or ill bring LJ around to sort you both out with her Ultra . No I think we need another THLF Sunday meet at ODP like before for a 4th mini friendly comp. The dates its open are: August 4th and 18th or Sept 1st, 15th and 29th. Who can make what dates? I quite fancy the 29th Sept if peeps can make it. Si.

What Caliber In A Springer .177Or.22

Yeah and that was at 53 meters aswell Joe. -
Ive got one mate. Very nice rifles. Very accurate.
-
You sold the 97 Nigel? Nice shot on the bunny. Si.

I was going to say the same mate. Davy loves his SR Pro so much today he was on about buying a second one himself. With his on his HW97KT he shoots it like a tuned pcp when in conjunction with a LRF. You need to see him shoot it to believe what he can do with that rifle and scope mate. Great scopes but expensive to buy if your on a tight budget.

97 or 98 over s HW100 for enjoyment, but for quick accurate pin point fire. Not much is better than a HW100 for hunting.

Breden ill send you Matt Winsers email address to get the same one as ive got fitted.

Congrats on getting a HW100KT Scott. IMO its one of the best pcps that can be used for hunting and HFT on the market. The trigger unit on them is amazing and its accuracy potential is far better than anyone will ever be able to shoot it. What scope you fitting on it mate? .22 is a good hunting calibre too and the barrels seem to love most pellet brands. Mine does well out to 60 meters with AA Fields. Group size is about a £1 at that range with 3 shots when the conditions are good. Out to 45 meters its almost pellet on pellet when im shooting well. As Daz says the next

Just got back from having a great shoot today with my wife, Davy, Phil Jones and Roger at OLP HFT course. The sun was shining and the wind was a mild right to left breeze, approx 1 mildots worth at 45 yards on x 10 mag. Davy was using his .22 HW97KT, Phil his .177 AA MPR, LJ her .177 BSA Ultra SE and me my .177 HW98. Davy was on form in the zeroing area taking a 45 and 50 yard knock down standing unsupported with ease, LJ was taking 35 yard knock downs without ever missing once, and i was happy knocking down which ever target i shot at once the correct windage was applied.
