  1. I waited till they were 6-7 months old myself before I shown them any rats, but its up to you. If you think they're ready for it then let them have a go at them.
  2. Are you sure? Ya there is loads of them there. hes only got two. they were out in open field becide forrest. What terrier is it that been used to thin the herd without taking much stick mate? **edited to say** In fact, I don't even want to know mate.
  3. I bought two collars from Strong Stuff not so long back and I've gotta say that his work is the best I've seen. Not only are his collars top quality but they're excellent value for money, the speed of his service is excellent as well. I would highly recommend this fella to anyone looking at buying collars for their dogs, I'm well impressed! Keep up the good work Strong Stuff! My dog with his new collar
  4. Is it a straight EBT? Or is there Pitt in its breeding somewhere down the line? I only ask that as the EBT X Pitts I've seen have all been Brindle's.
  5. If both dog and bitch are good grafters then why worry mate?
  6. Yeah bushing for what ever is excellent exercise for the terriers, not just physically but it's good for them to use their brains picking up on scent finding stuff and being occupied doing something, rather than just aimlessly running about in a park.
  7. Very nice dog that Angus is. If he grafts as good as he looks then he'll be doing very well for you. PS. His dad looks a handy sort as well.
  8. Anything crossed with a running dog is a lurcher IMO.
  9. Started this one this season, he done well and seems to be doing better every time he goes out.
  10. Are you sure? I was wondering the same He thinks lying will make him a hunter lol.
  11. Don't worry about it mate, him killing a rabbit isn't gonna stop him from being a digging dog. You'll be sound mate, he's earned himself a meal in catching that rabbit, be happy .
  12. "tsmcafee" don't take this as I am slagging you becouse I am not! Only trying to help out here and I did send you a PM also. I have to agree with AFT and wish you all the best with your bullrussels, but think you went into this project with your priority's in the wrong order. "I am interested in a good look as well as being game, able to hunt in some way." This sentence says alot and would meen a little more if it were reversed. Hunt drive/determination to locate, go to ground, get to the quarry and stay has to be number one IMO. As for the rest....color, style of work, size, ect. ect. tha
  13. There nice looking pups you have there! are they intended for earth work? what size do you rekon they will make? ATB ADAM Some of the pups will end up too big to go to ground but I am hoping the smallest of the litter, a little female I kept will be more of the Jack size but with a stronger bully head. Maybe able to pull an animal out. I am not an expert on the techniques but know what we usually have is some russells going to ground and the Bully would be waiting and digging until the animal is at surface. My friend bought a male from this Bull and Jack litter and hopes it will be
  14. She'll be gently kissing my ball bag all night if she's lucky.
  15. I want it to carry on, as it's either this or putting up with my birds crap programs.
  16. It's f*cking ridiculous over here mate, I personally think the only reason they wont have this breed over here is because its a big game bred dog! The laws over here just make me want to welly the door off No 10 at times! As for the clips on Youtube, I see a cracking one where they were testing the arsehole out on a load of young Dogo's on a Massive Boar in a big pen. Some of them were getting butted and they'd shit themselves, some would get snotted and start baying then there was some who'd take a wallop but still turn round and latch on, great vid but I can't find it on there anymor
