    HI NBK The first show is this Sunday, May 3rd. Its the Rockview Harriers Annual Lurcher, Terrier and Hound show. 12noon at Seven Houses Coursing Ground, Danesfort, Kilkenny ( 4 milles out the Waterford road From Kilkenny City) All usual classes, flapper racing after showing Also Pet Class.     I am trying to catch a fox for a farmer by his sheep. I have just bought a cage trap. Any advice how to, where to, bait to use etc would be great please. Thanks a million Johnny

    Sorry for delay in replying. Terrier judge not fully confirmed yet. We are in middle of sorting a Countrymans Weekly Qualifier. I'll update you all once I know. Thanks for complement. I hope show goes as well as last year.

    Mr Burrowman, I am not here to attack you or tell you anything, purely to offer my opinon to you. 1. Having read The Irish Times only ten days ago your mad to mention stripes. 2. You do not need to hide your gear, for two reaons one digging foxes is not illegal and if you had permission off farmer you do not need to sneak around. 3. This is a great forum to keep up with others sport, offer advice, and look for advice.     Hi I have a quad i use for following the hounds when digging. Does anyone else use them and if so what way have you get them kitted out. Any pics of how you keep tools on them or terrier boxes please?

    Ya the 3rd of May is probably the first of the season alright. Hope to have a good crowd. For anyone that dont know.     We run a show the Sunday of the May Bank Holiday, I think its the 3rd of May this is year. Sunday seems to work well.

    If your hunting them with hounds there is no smell off them. They run tiny little circles and go to ground. When digging them as already said red belly, milk in teets. You will notice they have an enlarged belly. These are only my experinces I aint no expert I am afraid.

    Check out page 95 of Hunt and Working Terriers by Capt. J. Lucas M C. You can get it from tideline books. Its an old book but brilliant for all aspects of terrier work. In it gives few plans on artificals and thoughts on it.
