Not mentioning any names. But the man in the cap has a little history he keeps very quiet. Well I'll rephrase that someone who looks very like him!!!!! He used to work for a pack of foxhounds. Then one day he borrowed the hunt jeep and humane killer and robbed the local post office. I think did a little bit of time in prison..... The anti's keep this very quiet though. The same man also puts ban hunting stickers on every sign in a village in Galway, but the council never do him for littering! Also I must remember that line from our anti friend in Waterford, "they were wearing Balaclavas becaus

Whether you agree with the wards or not I think all fieldsports people should support them and this march on Saturday. If the wards are banned not only is it a sad day loosing a lovely pack of hounds, a herd of red deer, 10-15 jobs directly and many indirectly, but more importantly these anti's will not go away but only move onto the next thing. Be it coursing, digging, lamping, snaring you name it they will not go away. So united we stand. Dont forget 11am this Saturday on the Quay in Waterford. Good Hunting Johnny85

Blarney, lad. Best of luck Noel, will be down with a gang. Hope to see you on May 2nd in Kilkenny

Ivamec will react with very small dogs and in bred dogs. You need to be careful great stuff though. Tactic is the same. Never use on dogs with broken skin and dilute alot. Any farm shop sells it at about €50 a bottle. Benzo for animals is gone but can stil get the human stuff which is not quite as strong in any good chemist.

Johnny85 replied to shaver's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Not counted this year yet. But last season I hunted 107 times with packs and in that time killed 7 above and dug 57. Please not that this was with four or five different packs and was from auguat 1st to march 17th. -
Out cubbing with a pack of foxhounds, a county pack near where I live. This was in 1998. Marked after long morning hunting around and found three cubs two old vixens

Is there noone over here, that can judge a dog, or have they been all shipped to the UK to judge over there, because at the end of the day its only a bit of craic, their must be one honest Irishman left on these shores.. Casso, Yes of course there are. There are many many honest good Irish men who can judge. We have had Irish judges every other year. Surely where the judge is from does not matter. However last summer we brought hounds and terriers to many shows where too many lads were stood around the ringside saying "the judge owns the winner", or "that guy came with the judge to -
Fully agree, well said. Good weather too. means the family enjot it aswell, not too hot for dogs though. We try to achieve all of these. The only one we are a bit slow on is No. 5 The trade stands. However this year we have the Official Distributor in Ireland for B&f and DD Timber Products bringing a big stand, also few net men and food men. Anyone out there with doggy companies who would like to bring a stand please pm me. Hope to see you all in Kilkenny on May 2nd. Good Hunting Johnny85

We are in the middle of getting an earth dog running dog qualifier, same as last year. We do not like to be cocky or sound stupid, but We hope that this is not a normal show. Like every year, this year we hope to run a great day out for working dogs and their owners. We have added the falconry display to add some variety for the crowd. But our main aim, as before is to organise a great day for hunting men of all forms to come and enjoy their day. All money made on the day goes straight back into hunting and the defending of the sport. Our own friends and supporters from Kilkenny and the Waterf -
