the other thing thats bugging me about fitting a new Battery is will it bugger up the Imobiliser so it needs Re-programing again? I have read in the past that on some cars if the Battery is off for a certain period of time the Imob will need programing again ....

I hope so mate! will probably grow on one or two cockerals for the pot . nearly all the silkies are gone now passed onto a old boy on the estate, still got one leghorn left which is at the moment our star laying bird but the eggs for some reason aren't very big for the size of the bird.....

cheers Dan! it looks the business mate should say a battery like that will last me through the toughest winter, last year with all the snow I only left the truck for a couple of days and it was flat

agree 100% Used poley's and albino's without a problem, the bird bate off at them at first but get a few kills under its belt over the ferrets and they soon know the score. Its a simple method of Holding onto the jesses if the ferret pops out first, before long they don't even bate at the ferrets. heard of a few people flying Harris's out of trees over ferrets , ok you can get away with it a few times but be fair to the Ferret who is working for you as a partnership and keep the bird on the glove Jasp

when my kids was a primary school on sports day I probably had the biggest gob of anyone else there! Includeing the woman . when he was limbering up for his 60 metre sprint I would walk over to him and and shout things to him, the teachers on many occasions would put his finger to his mouth and ask me to quieten down . the moral of the story is my lad had some stick off some scumsters in his first couple of years at the school, he paid them back bigtime in the sports and on the football pitch, out of the 5 years he run the sprints he walked away with 4 medals all firsts this is my

what a shame you live so far away mate! if you was closer I would have taken everything off you and filled the freezer up. I stuck a advert on here a while back asking for steel shot or air rifled Pigeons, I would even provide the steel shot... Jasp

Can anyone give me some ideas or advice on where to buy or make a guttering system for a Polytunnel? the last one we used was a adhesive plastic strip with a tiny gutter in it straight to the water butt, for such a small system it filled it up pretty quick! unfortunatly the gutter wasn't quite man enough with still buckets of water being lost down the side of the Tunnel. its incredible the amount of water that pours off the side of one of these Polytunnels if only it could be collected . Cracking post also been thinking about this one a fair while. I genuinly thought (although I didn't vote for him) Cameron would be good for change, it now turns out he has probably made more U turns on his policies he promised before the election than any other PM. Its fair enough we had to make sacrifices to bail us out of the crap Labour left behind! but while we're all suffering due to cutbacks he's giving a vast majority away in aid . I read somewhere that Pakistan also has a bigger rich list in its country than we do! so why all the aid? this is a country that Bin laden was

I know I listend to some crap when was a teen but at least I could understand it. I would have to be high on crack to tortured to listen to the crap he listens too ....

cheers all anyone know how to sex these? I read that the cockerals should be yellow and the Hens should be Buff . the thing is some are Yellow and some are a light rusty colour and some are just dark along the back. the last thing I want to do is do away with the wrong sex and end up with all cockerals.....

Got ourselves some Rhodies x Light Sussex eggs off ebay <12 off> a few weeks back, stuck them in the inc and weighed them down while Incubating, it turned out 12 was fertile and thankfully I ended up getting 12 out on the 13th. the downer is one was very runty and doomed to die which is now has, on the plus side the other 11 are doing fine . all the eggs was running too wet and all needed drying out more! no water was placed in the incubator as usual as the outside Humidity is plenty enough round here, I finally ended up Holeing all the eggs with around 8 days to go to dry them o

You forgot to say YOUNG fit and healthy ! even then any bird only has so many eggs in her. why push her? My old pair are now 21 and 17, triple clutching her won't do her any favours except probably kill her!! the reason they have lived this long is mainly because they have been fit and healthy and previously flown regular. even in her younger days double clutching was plenty if you get them all off . risking a prolapse by pushing her for a few extra isn't my idea of breeding. I'm sure Derek will also agree there's also No point in breeding too many birds from a species such as a Harrishawk

I had a Paj 2.8 SWB Automatic and boy was it thirsty! still to this day I have never had a motor guzzle fuel quite like this . I went for the 2.8 for a bit extra grunt plus this engine comes with a timing chain, the 2.5 is timing belt. the up side is it came with three shock adjustments from the cockpit and lots of other toys to play with, just a shame it was so thirsty.

Once went crow shootng with a local keeper and bagged a few, on the way back a elderly gentlemen aproached us who lived near by and asked us if we had any rooks we didn't want? on that day all we had bagged was Jackdaws and crows so the keeper walked round to the truck and pulled a few heads off the dead crows and gave them to the bloke for the pot . By all accounts this old boy had been taking them off him for years thinking they was Rooks but most of the time was crows. It turned out to be true as a few weeks later we shot some more and over he came again from his old cottage, "Have you

nearly fell of my chair at the old man worthington bit Its funny mate I feel the same! there's not a chance in hell I would ever get a bird fit like some previouse birds, time is the esance and I simply can't spare it. there was a time I would fly Sunday to friday and feed up on the friday as Saturdays was shooting day! the bird would be bang on again for the sunday! it also helped to have pal who was on his game knocking on my door kicking my arse to get out and fly, it then got to the stage on the days I didn't fly I felt guilty. probably also have to say the birds was in tip top fl
