Cracking pictures there Pauls . I would have been 10 in 1975 mate and probably egg colecting back then and walking the woods with a catapault .........
-
found some different pellets need seating more than others but the .177 Field Target Tropies I use never cause a problem ....

My D22 only holds 4.5 litres? its a bit confuseing as on some websites it says 7.5 . the first time I did it I put 7.5 in and it was a good halfway up the dipstick ..... definitely do it by 5000mls, mine still runs like a baby with 119,000 miles on the clock....
-
Bet that could tell a few stories through the years Paulus, looks very old. just a guess it looks like a old centre pin reel probablky for trout fishing? to be honest though mate there's far more people know what they're talking about than me on here

could well be Gnash. aparantly his agent is the one doing alot of the negotiating which doesn't always seem good for the lad... No doubt he has been a bit rebelious but he looks a massive talent in the making. or should I say he was when I saw some clips of him playing in the Man U youth team. think he'll prove his critics wrong and have people asking questions why Fergie didn't give him more time....

Ali and Ray Leonards old corner man dies aged 90. one of the greats sadly missed these days..... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-2095281/Angelo-Dundee-dead-Muhammad-Alis-legendary-trainer-dies-90.html

You could be right there Malt but Rooney got away with it last year with his extortionate wage demands. think the manager has always had his favourites who he will deal with and others like Jaap Stam who fell out with him once was outed pronto, this guy was also a cracking defender at the top of his game.... you would think the manager would be bigger than this and put aside any fall outs for the sake of the team .....

there's a few clips of the lad on youtube Gnash, a definite talent no doubt about it. he's been a bit wayward but I think the lad will come good and prove all his critics wrong, he's a lad so I can't condemn him for being rebelious a few times.... think when a player falls foul of Fergie he is out wether he is talented or not , the policy stinks as this lad probably just needed a arm around his shoulder and a bit of guidence. a star buy Gnash no doubt about it ...........

Summat told me you would know, Aplomado. bang on, he did tell me, but i forgot, nice bird, but didnt like the dogs, and was getting stressed out, so i bid him farewell. by the way, what prey would he use it for thank you lovely elegant looking birds mate never had anything to do with them and mainly now stick to out Native Peregrine. probably take small to medium sized birds and by all accounts will take some ground quarry

Its all going tits up fast Mick. spoke about the Goshawk situation with a few breeders a few years ago, it was considered to be on its way down then but its come round faster than first thought.... far too many birds available exceeding the demand..........

aplomado or aplomado Hybred of some sort?

the missus got me a pair of Tay Muck boots just over a year ago. in the past I loved them but these havn't done too well in the picture ... Pretty disapointed to be honest...

I picked up a 13 litre divers Bottle the other year Rake off ebay for a song, wish I had the Falcon now as it was nice and light and suited me perfect. lovely rifle mate no doubt about it .... as for the shot count per charge? you might find it will be lower than 40 at 30ft/lbs. a pal had a old Webley Axor Carbine a few years back running at 18ft/lbs in .22, it used to drop off at around 30 shots... I picked up a Air Ranger a couple of years ago Rake, don't get me wrong its a nice gun but with the scope and Bipod its weighs over 10lb now. its fine when shooting from a resting position but

Don't think you'll find thats true these days. if people don't view the birds in the first place and have no idea about blood lines then they don't know what qualty is if its smacked them in the face. Its a buyers market these days with so many birds available......

I just fired this around a few beaters on the local shoot here in Norwich, I'll also get it fired across to a guy I know who lives near Bury .... I hope you find it in the mean time though mate, its a heartbreaker when a dog disapeers like that
-
Had one of these in the late 90's Rake. lovely gun, mine was accurate as fook in .177 just under 12ft/lbs. wish I never parted with it now but all I had was one of them styrup pumps which took me all day to charge it, think mine averaged about 65 shots on a charge ... mine in the picture was a Lefty with lefthand bolt to match........

Just Picked Up An Old Bsa Mercury / Advice Please
jasper65 replied to mjr88's topic in General Airgun Discussion
the "S" version had a bit more clout about it, slightly wider cylinder helped a bit also came with a 12 grooved barrel. Don't ask me what that meant ..... here's was my old one I had when I was a lad, it was offered back to me a few years ago but he was asking silly money which is a shame as I wanted it for sentimental reasons.... For Sale falcon fn19 .177 with lots of brass upgrades
jasper65 replied to peanuter77's topic in Gun's and Rifle's
you should be able to make them smaller on your pc? you can even convert them to email and email to yourself and save them, these will then be smaller to use on the forum -
seen some quality threads ruined in the past by Numpties, all the editing in the world won't put them right so they end up binned which is a shame... would be nice if some of these topics can't be dug out and reintroduced and done over again .... one forum I have noticed you need to be a Donator to get into certain boards, also a 18+ board too. these are heavily moderated and cleaned up straight away which seems is a good thing for good genuine unspoilt conversation...............

could be a good idea to contact the IBR link below who may be able to help you out in the Kent area. they do a Directory of breeders registered with them aswel as some other helpful contacts . http://www.independentbirdregister-webshop.co.uk/Webshop/results2.asp?CategoryID=172

well played Liverpool, Best team won on the day . De Gea must go down as yet another one of Fergusons poor buys . think it must of been the Liverpool scouts who watched him and recommended him .... I look at some of Fergusons team sheets and think what the fook is he playing at, Welbeck looked lost up front on his own and when he finally changed to 4 4 2 it was way too late. retirement beckons.....

Just Picked Up An Old Bsa Mercury / Advice Please
jasper65 replied to mjr88's topic in General Airgun Discussion
lovely Guns John . had a Mercury as a lad and also the S version. must say back then I had more fun with a Mercury than any other gun but there are some pretty decent springers about these days with Damper systems that make the Mercury look and shoot their age.... one thing I noticed with mine is they had pretty shallow scope groves which suffered a bit with creep, I fitted arrestor blocks on mine and the bloody thing still creeped. its a shame BSA didn't fit some sort of recoil stop and deepen the rails. all said and done though John that gun you have will be more than adequate to do -
Just been reading this article which add fuel to the fire........ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2092942/How-islanders-Falklands-preparing-untold-riches-Armageddon.html
