It was this bird called Lindsey!! she was a real dog but would spend hours sniffing a licking my tackle . Seriously Byron!! a Black Lab Retreiver. he was never trainned perfect but did a half decent job for me unless their was any cattle around, he would then chase them and was a nightmare.... Jasper

I had a Uncle from Peter Lee Durham who raced Pigeons for many years! we would always have plenty of banter about them but nothing seriouse. as I remember one of his main problems he was having back then was Cats but he could never resist a quick quip to me about BOP ... I won't condemn people for doing it just because I keep BOP, its their perogative if they go with the law or break it. some fanciers have been good to me in the past supplying me with dead Pigeons when they have a clear out, I would obviously be a bit arsed if they killed one of mine or friends birds but I stay out of the

Nice pic's Al . we don't see Buzzards very regular in this area! we see the odd one's and Goshawks plus plenty of Spars, but nothing like the Buzzards seen in other parts of the country..... Jasper

It goes on all the time Kristian. a heard last year of some Pigeon Fanciers going up to a Peregrine Eyrie and breaking all the eggs on the ledge, aparantly this happend pretty regular to this pair at breeding time so this time a camera was installed and the guys was caught .... Its all over the net now when I googled it about fanciers doing over BOP. this is just a couple I found... Blood tests show most things up mate! the trouble is there is so much crap about these days to catch you never know what you've caught. I caught what I thought was Flu off my cousin about 3 weeks ago yet I still have the same symptoms now as when I first got it! its not flu though as I don't have a temperature or anything, I just feel like shit with the aches all day and even worse when I get off my arse and do somthing.... I'm off up the Doc next week to see if he can't put me down ....

Sounds like some good advice to me Chris . Its long been thought about the Altai Saker being a Gyr sub species but I think by all acounts its pretty conclusive now. take Chaos advice and have basically the same bird for less pennies .... Jasper

I don't have a record deck these days. it's here in a box of my old Northern soul singles somehwere! but it still sounds pretty good to me .... I was doing a stint of shifts in a Factory in about 1991 and one of the Lads stuck a Macc Lads tape on in the evening shift, it had me in stitches!
