  1. Just got one of these through too Spar! its sounds simular to courses he did for Different BFC regions. I attended one in 97 at the Eastern Region which was a "First Aid course" for "Rehabilitators and Falconers", I still have the Litterature which is always good to look back through if I have any health issues with the birds , mind you I should think he has alot more to add since back then.... Remember girls

Well my Valentine deed is now done!! just scribbled in the card for the monster! when she get up in the morning she'll also get 12 Red Roses! hopefully that evening she'll get the suspenders on and I'll then get 12 Minutes of all out hot action , its unreal some thing we have to do for a shag .... 4. Just opened this one again now its all calmed down a bit! I can't be Bolloxed to argue about Big Willy Imprints or P/R birds any longer. How you want the bird reared is your personal choice and you'll have plenty of sport with either! go out fly your birds and Enjoy! 2008 season is not that far away .... ATB Jasper
  5. Nice one! sounds like you've got a nice couple of decent earners there.........
  6. :welcomeani: to the forum Phill. what sort of business do you do with the birds? Jasper
  7. It all sounds a bit rough back then... but seriously are we better off today? probably as far as Health is concerened we are! but from a Field sports point of view boy did they have it good back then. I have a old book I used to read regular on Falconry written Pre War!! and the guy talking from a sporting point of view wrote "I beleive I have seen the best of this country of the likes will never be seen again" How true is that.... 8. Lincolnshire is fine if you like it Flat , you can see for miles without seeing any woods or much else. I lived in a place called Walpole near Sutton Bridge for a couple of years and it wasn't for me! I like to Mooch around the woodland and meadow area's here in Norfolk.... Jasper
  9. Hello Chris She hovers around the 2lb 9 to 2lb 11 mark. when she is coming into Breeding condition she piles it on and probably then its when she hits the top, but on the Weathering ledge she stabilizers around the 2lb 9 mark, the missus on the other hand Hovers around the 18 stone mark .... I wasn't over famillar with the Ray Turner lines but the Mark Robb lines speak for themselves! he always has and still does outstanding birds.... ATB Jasper
  10. The Father Chris is a Male I had off Mark Robb in 94 paired to a old 1991 Ray Turner female. sadly the female has now died end of last year but the pair threw some cracking straight Peregrines. thankfully I have just paired the old male again with a 5 year old Gary Wall female belong to a mate on a 50/50 share agreement... This is a female also from the old pair which I kept back on the missus fist, she was certainly a lump too! I only wish I had kept a few more now... ATB Tony
  11. With all the excitement about Imprints lately I thought I would show you one one of mine! Not for flying mind you . Its one of two Kept back from the old pair of good gennuine pure blood Peregrines a couple of years back. He's been in his aviary now nearly a couple of weeks and already Chupping and toe picking at me which is nice to see, obviousley the plan is to get some Semen off him and his Brother and see how things go with the females.... 12. Cracking pic's IL! Thats one big grin on your lads face . I found this of my lad which I forgot about fishing a pals small pit, its nothing like them pike you've caught there but he was just pulling out small Mirrors simular to this through the day which kept him busy.... Jasper
  13. This quote covers your first ever loss of Animal, Bird or Human..... "When You're First Wife Dies. She Leave's Such A Hole In Your Heart! All The Rest Slip Through"..... also... "When You're Being Kicked From Behind!! You're In Front"...... one more... "Success Come's With Other People's Failures".......
  14. Very nice Fish IL . the black and white pic's to me look the best. I used to love some Pike fishing a good few years back either spinning, Pugging or Dead bate!! the last time I went fishing was a couple of years ago when I took my lad on a small pit catching some tiny Roach and Perch. its wet my appertite now to go and have a go at some Pike again some time soon .... Jasper
  15. If anyone has the above for sale or know where there is one for sale of at least 3 years old please contact me! cash waiting for right bird ....
  16. I have some time to kill at the moment DAZ! but probably shouldn't be on here typing so much as I'm behind on alot of things. you know how it is! you see something you feel needs saying so you say it , shooting from the hip is something I can't change now at my age..... Jasper
  17. You're right Sherman! nothing is set in concrete and wouldn't it be a pitiful world if we all agreed. the guy on the site who brought one of the big male's had it taking Corvids at 2lb, I also kept a brother to this back as a future donor! they're off the BH lines that throw some corkers. Beleive it or not I'm giving a male away this year to a good friend who will do one justice and another female will be going cheap as a Imprint to another good friend who will do his justice. infact Sherman a whole lot from different lines will be going cheaper. I'm not against Imprints whatsoever! I ju
  18. A good percentage of Peregrine Kills will be taken up to a advantage point somehwere high! she won't want to sit about on the floor for long incase of predators and such. I'll be totaly Honest mate its a hard one but a pigeon plucked on the floor points to Hawk a majority of the time! but then again there's no rule book to any of them ... a nice picture if you see them again GHT will solve the mystery ... Jasper
  19. No doubt about it Chris it is my Favourite saying when posts are repeated over and over again and others keep talking Bollox, and why shouldn't it be . I've got nothing against swearing either! why should I? I thought we was big boys now. I'm certainly not stressed in the least Chris! I would go as far as to say I'm pretty chilled this year and looking forward to filling a whole lot of orders incudeing some for Garth ... You're right Banning him is a option but to be Honest I have been pretty entertained by it until he posts the same things over and over and over again! its certainly opend
  20. For f**k sake lad I was flying Imprint spars and a few Kestrels many years ago but prefered the Spars chreched on a ledge! I also flew a Imprint Tiercel loaned to me and didn't like that either.... Now lad you have just answered your own question which seems to be the case with you over and over and over and over again! its now pretty boring and un interesting to say the least, I won't be drawn into this Bollox anymore cause basically its total Dross and getting nowhere talking to someone who constantly repeats their posts over and over again... Don't you also think by writing this sor
  21. I must admit that does sound Falcon like GHT and chucks my theory out of the window . Mind you J Darcy could have a valid point when saying Harriers as these tend to do alot of this! just a stupid question mate but was they pretty high up when dive Bombing? alot fo accipiters will go up on a ringer normally with one climbing above the other and display from there....
  22. You really gennuinly have no idea about conditioning a bird have you? Its plain obviouse by reading your posts that you feel the way to get the best out of a P/R bird is too chop its weight down , get a hold of yourself man and do your homework on conditioning a hawk and then hopefully when you have learned a little more you will understand P/R birds a bit more..... as for my birds there is plenty who have seen it fly and this bird would Boomerang to the fist at high weights! you won't get away from this bird at 2lb 7 I can promise you that because the bird was manned in such a way it wan
  23. Nope not against them at all and have adviced lads to take one and Imprint in the past and present! My gripe is reading Bollox like this quoteing how long they have been in the game and Bumming up Imprints when like I said ealier!! THEY'RE THE SAME BIRD BUT JUST REARED DIFFERENT , Its like reading a story on Telly Tubbies on here latley and nothing like talking to a seasoned Falconer as you say you are... Beleve me old mate I can quote alot about myself and how long I have been n the game and who I have flown with good and bad buy why bother? its nothing! it means nothing to me so why talk
  24. Dear oh dear!! Yep it would but not very well though would it , it would probably have flown alright at that weight no problem but in the oposite direction .
