Many thanks all for the top advice . I was tempted to get some eggs in and blast them in the Incubator but if the point of lay is 6 months it'll be a long wait. I'll take the advice and hopefully be able to get a mix of whats been mentioned of some grown ons <Poults> from Swaffham poultry auction! I'll also try and make sure they have some teeth Lurcher123 ..... Much apreciated Advice Jasper

that looks like one big soppy pointer mate . does he still like the squirrels Jasper

I used to use Honeybrook for year Nightshadow but now use Kiezebrink UK LTD. they're a bit cheaper and do their box's on average around 250 per box instead of 200 in a box like Honeybrook!! its not much of a problem but the 250's are easy for me to stack in my freezer... They're based in Bury St Edmunds Tele: 01284 810779 Jasper

It would burn the forum out with the amount of adverts .... seriousley though it probably would be a good idea as I'm sure it would be kept in check from time to time for the Peddlers..... Jasper

Very nice Kat . Sakers are vastly underrated these days, I had a lovely standing white 1/4 white Gyr x Saker and passed her on for a silly price . she produced some lovely youngsters which knocked the sizes up with that Tad of Gyr in them, they turned out just like large Pere x Sakers with Pere semen fired into her but for some reason these days they was a nightmare to pass on except to the odd Landfill lads who wanted them for their work...... Hopefully Barrera will Spark him out and put a end to his ring career..... Jasper

Cheers all for the help but it seems you was right SP . a guy at the local garage told me he thinks the fuel pump is on its way out as you could here a noise from the engine. I fitted a new filter but he reckoned it would only be a short term fix ? short term fix my arse and its running superb again now after all the filters and oil change!! it also turned out the noise from the engine was the alternator, a quick blast with WD40 and it cleared it up .... Can anyone tell me which type is the best layers and also has the best eggs? silly question I know but I have 6 Hen Silkie Bantams here and their eggs are pretty tasteless. I keep the silkies to start Hawk eggs off for me before I finish them off in the Incubator but do eat the eggs they lay too.... I now want to get a few chickens mainly for Good eating eggs and for the table, I used to get some Free range eggs off a old lady a few years back which was full of flavor and a good percentage double yolkers but have no idea what variety they was.... Any advice would be apreciated Ja

Very nice Mattidski . I know they was no where as quick as that Motor but the old MK2 RS2000 were lovely motors in there day, there must be someone on the site who had one? one other I drooled over was the RS1800 but they was like rocking horse shit..... One other that seems a bit special was the RS200.... Jasper

I still couldn't get the petrol head syndrome out of my head even when settled down and picked up my first RS Turbo Custom in late 89, next was a couple of others on a G plates until 95 when my lad came along on I got a old mans car . I somehow managed to fit a Pug 1.9GTI in the middle of these somewhere, this was quick but lacked the plushness of the RS's I was besoted with and still am.... Jasper

Oh mate now you're talking . I would have loved one but by all accounts they passed everything except a petrol station ... I loved the the MK3 2.0S, I remember being a total jerk when I picked it up and buying it without checking it over but it looked good so I wanted it, them checked seats and tennis racket head rests and all the dials on the dash had me drooling . I remember knocking the first engine out after fitting the High Lift Cam racing a MK1 XR2 down to a old Jazz/Funk place back then called the Jennings Arms, anyone in Norfolk must remember that one? it was always a race the

Hows it going stollen . The first Pere x Prairie I brought was in 95 off Brian Bevan in Bedford, this one was the smallest and very Prairie looking with the wedge shaped head and big eyes but had bottle with a capital B, she died from Lead poisening . the next one came off Brian a couple of years later but didn't hit the dizzy heights like the first one. the last one in the picture came from some lads in stoke on trent in 2000 and the biggest of the 3 and more Peregrine than the rest and a bit of a vegetarian , she was fine at first but came unstuck on some crows on the landfill and never

Nice one Al . I loved the old Escorts! my first car was a MK1 1300GL and I worshiped it, I don't think I have ever cleaned a car so much since , The Mexico's were the Dogs dangley's in my eyes though mate.... There was a lad not far from me back then who had a lovely black MK1 RS2000, he popped the bonnet up to show me a lovely set of twin 40's and a 4 branch in a peco and boy did it sound nice, I reckon these care would give some decent one's now a good run for their money.... This was my baby a few years later! I stuck a piper highlift cam on top of the 2.0 litre pinto and 4 branch a

Goshawks are very adictive aren't they . it wasn't a ideal way to breed a bird in a weathering but it was the only way she would stand. when I see the P/R youngsters in the aviary like this after Hatching them and watching them being reared from a chick its sad when they all have to go, one pic if of 3 Finn x German females and the other is a Large Pure Finn female next to a Finn x German female, also a picture of a male from the previouse year a brother to Millets bird.... well done mate plenty more quarry to come now I'm sure ....... Jasper

I had 3 Pere x Prairies in the past and although Highly underrated birds I don't think that either a male or a female has quite the crushing grip asociated with a male or female Harrishawk.... Falcons mainly kill with their beak and administer the coupe de grace this way! Nature built them that way. Hawks/broadwings obviousley have broad thick toes design for maiximum power and grip to hold and disable their quarry as much as possible.... here's the last P/R Pere x Prairie I flew trimming her to the lure! you can just see the edge of the Landfill at the back of one of the fields where

Just thought I would put a couple of pic's up of one of the Imprint Goshawks which succesfully came into breeding condition on its bow, stood for insemination, Built a nest in the weathering, and obviousley produced fertile eggs!! Oh and also note the terrible Pea gravel in the weathering which obviousley caused the birds untold damage .... also a pic the same female back in the chamber rearing..... atb Jasper
